The tank levels are such crapshoots. If their tank kills your bazookas before they kill the tank, you instantly lose.

I'm not sure I like how a few missions in, you can't get experience from defeating enemies anymore. Coupled with the absence of a "redistribute points" function, you're just screwed if you made the wrong choices. 3/5.

the assault squad is nerfed or for some reason aren't effective as much except with tanks but even then..are they just to gain ground fast?

Inability to stack squads in trenches is a major drawback in comparison to first part of game. Also, winning wehrmacht campaign results in inevitable defeat, which leaves me somehow unsatisfied sad_hitler.png.

Tip: Get the three upgrades on the right side of the training upgrades (faster reinforcements and cheaper dudes), then spam your cheapest unit down the center row. Add in a bazooka or something every once in a while if you need it to defeat a tank or other specific troop.

Units deployed - 125 Rifleman, 12 Assault, 4 Machine Gun (because rifleman were on cool down), 4 tanks and 10 bazookas. Everything else was at 0. Zerg rushing works.

I've played through the game twice, and have yet to figure out what officers actually do... Or how to call in artillery.

Play it on hardened from the beginning; you may have to fight every battle twice but you get all the achievements in one go. Strike decisively, and note you can only have 800RP at a time (= enough for a tank)

Oddly enough, I found the Hardened difficulty to be easier than the Regular difficulty.
I just spammed Riflemen to cover (and to distract the enemy) either Tanks or Bazookas, with a few Assault teams flung in there. Didn't bother with Snipers, Officers, or Mortars, too costly for too little gain.
