I wall-jumped a gap and found a big house got in and apparently the devs were inside their "secret" hideout? LOL, most good games have secrets and this is a very good game 5/5 and i agree with arkhentark an alternate ending would have been cool like asking the hazmats for help instead of killing them.

quality button would be nice, cuz i just lagged into (possibly)one of the blocked underwater parts, and to prevent becoming stuck, i had to let a fish kill me...so far tho, awesome game!

So I'm in a post-apocalyptic world where almost everyone's sick. Then I blow up the main generator for a medical research facility. Feels bad man.

I was suprised to find the last boss wasn't his little girl that might've been a nice plot twist, though a happy endings always nice :) 5/5

Scratch that.. what spoilt this for me is that I ended up in walls for no reason, and sometimes would not be able to restart, thus losing all my progress (No auto-save). The game isn't good enough to repeat I'm afraid, so I won't be finishing this. Shame

I can't even get past the first boss.. He sometimes doesn't lose health when hit him.. Is that a bug? But it is a great game so far! :)

i was expecting a tragic element, like it turns out they found a cure but had to tear all the flesh from the daughter or the dad died from the pollution after he saved her or something

I'm not so keen on how you handled wall-jumping in this game. In most games where you can't just wall-jump up a single surface, wall-jumping off a left wall will propel you up and to the right, and vice versa. But here, you just give it the same effect as a normal double jump. Instead, wall-jumping off a left wall disables wall-jumping off of left walls until you wall-jump off a right wall or land on the ground. It's rather awkward.

Great game. It gets laggy sometimes, so the wall jumps become really hard. Last boss was scary enough, but it could have better attack rather than just walking and pushing you, giving you one point of damage. The secret hangout and dog easter egg was really nice, however i have a feeling that there were much more secrets in the game.

Awesome game, even though I am now suffering from repetitive strain disorder... quick question though...if all/most the plants were dead how come there was a fully functional beehive in monster X mouth? I say Monster X was a gigantic blossom...he did not deserve to die....

Very well designed, story could be a tad better. Grenades were a pain to use and aiming was trifle at moments. Otherwise a nice game gave it 3/5 cause of the controls. Looking forward to a sequel.

This was a beautiful game, very well done. It was a good concept with good execution. I truly enjoyed playing the game beginning to end.

Very good story and very well implemented. Just wondering if the hazmats should have gotten the dad's DNA rather than his daugther cause i think he is very badass. Especially taking on subject X at the end.

Interesting story. I have never felt so conflicted as a protagonist. Never before have I felt to be such a well-meaning villain.

-There are some bugs in the game
-gameplay is awesome especially boss fight
-no changing quality button
-nice twist plot I even thought that they had turned the daughter into mutant by accident.
-There is something the kidnapper didn't tell the main character.
-the ending is they found plant that immune to pollution? It might be something more than that!
-This game needs map.

The game was... okay. Judging by the comments, not many others shared in my lag. The lag was not from my processor, RAM, nor graphics card. I honestly have no idea how this game was lagging my computer, but I think it might be frame-skipping, not lag. Regardless, beyond lag, my character was jumping through walls and falling through the floor to his death. The hint button, the one time I used it, was not especially helpful -- it sent me on a wild goose chase for an item that was nowhere near where it said it was. (The ship part, which was five screens away from the cave, not in the cave / next to it, as the hint implies.) Beyond glitches, lag, and a few personal gripes, the game pulled off the retro feel and tight controls flawlessly. I completed it despite the lag. A great game. Just buggy. I give it 3/5; a point taken away for the bugs.

hey Ace_Blue - the first boss hp bar is not buggy. My thoughts were the same at first but at second attempt I realized that the boss must be hit under the spikes. When you hit him he jumps to the ceiling and hurts himself when landing on a spike. It won't hurt him if he lands at clear ceiling spot.

That was fun. Not quite what I expected. I figured there was going to be some horrible twist that his daughter had become Subject X and he was actually killing her or something. Nice to have a happy ending though and the help system was very effective as keeping me from getting lost with the odder tasks.

"That creature looks very toxic. I have to make sure to not touch it when I kill it or evade it alltogether." *fist to the face* "Works, I guess."

A great game 5/5. Boss fights are awesome. Level design is great, I always knew where to go. Gameplay was medium difficult. It is important to notice that you jump higher the longer you press A. You could add this to instructions.

Great game! Loved the game play, the pixel graphics and music. Back to old school gaming and how games should be made :D 5/5
