My only complaint was that the shell doesn't block the sun snail's attacks. Really the only time I needed it, and it failed me. Still, amazing adventure overall.

@GrahamBits: Jump and Shoot are different buttons, and you can reassign them to any keys you like, or use joytokey and a gamepad if that helps. If you still have trouble jumping into things you're shooting at after grabbing Gravity Snail, go to Menu>Options and change Shooting from Normal to Toggle. Then you only have to focus on jumping and aiming. Don't spam the jump key/button, just press it firmly once to jump. Yes the controls aren't perfect but you can learn to manage them fairly well. Doubtless the game's success has guaranteed auriplane a much larger base of playtesters to better balance the sequel.

Careful when aiming in midair after getting gravity snail - since aiming and changing direction use the same controls, it's easy to start aiming for an enemy and accidentally fall into them if you aren't mindful.

I love everything about this game. The music, the level design, the feeling that I'm playing a long lost NES game - everything.
This might just be me, but if there is a sequel, I hope it doesn't have achievements. It would ruin both the feeling of exploration as well as the feeling that this is an old-school game. I'm sure most of Kong will disagree with me, though.

I really dont like the sloppy gravity controls, its killed me more times then I have benefited from it, also the hidden secrets are hidden in the most ridiculous places

I only wonder where the brains are located in a snails body.. Snaily Snail really must have brains, otherwise he could never teach himself the impossible.

you know when i played this for the first time i said 'oh, another platform game......' then after like half an hour playing this, i said to myself 'wow, what a platform game !!', this is like the best platform game i've ever played with tons of secrets ! 5/5

Very well made game. Graphics are simple, which I like, but it is still a very complex world full of things to explore. Plus, snails!

wat the? I got the achievement for killing moon snail as i entered the room? And the people told me i wasnt strong enough to beat moon snail yet? Are you just not ment to kill moon snail? lol

Pea shooter glitched so I could only shoot in one direction, which stopped me from progressing any further. Other than that, great game.

@BSD91: So the boss gets harder once he's about to die. Which is a game mechanic that is fairly frequent. What's your point?

Game was good until the 'space box' boss. Gravity snail controls are unresponsive as hell and basing a boss on it is just stupid.

ah Metriod, this is why i played you, and the SNES mod where Samus is in a bikini the whole game, but i dont wanna see a snail in a bikini...
