You really want to start final battle with Headhunter Jack and Last Flake fully healed. Last Flake will be able to beat Ancient Fear alone, but sometimes Jack will have to deal some damage quickly is Last Flake fails.

My only complaint is that you really need to maintain the balance. Non-healing characters always outshine its counterparts. Last Flake is particularly strong; huge lifesteal, huge regen, decent combo, and there's no need to waste turn for defensive stance. Additional informations like experience system (or even simply info on how it works, because I found it too random), allowing some grinding post final boss defeat, and additional superboss(es) certainly won't go unappreciated. 4/5 for now.

Good game. Simple, but fun to play. I can't stress enough how awesome it is to be able to instantly reset abilities for free. However, the targeting on this game was annoying at times. It relies too heavily on having a strong connection and decent computer, neither of which I have. Still, loved it. 5/5

Just read the comment about the scrollbar after I beat the game... certainly explains the strange dialogue from time to time. Kind of disappointing knowing that I didn't get to read everything in the first playthrough.

The first two chapters are nearly impossible on hard because the characters don't gain any HP between fights. It's SO much better once you get people to switch between.

Great game overall. Difficult enough to pose an enjoyable challenge, but not rage inducing. Hope there will be a sequel, otherwise that end will taunt me forever

Having issues with the timing on the attacks. Seems like I have to click after the bar has completely cleared the bar to hit it. Really strange timing, and makes the 'center' of the bar thing completely pointless.

Is there a way to play separatly each part of the story. For exemple, I wanted to play all the story with only 1 character (not sure if it's possible with the last boss but still).

The 'you hit here' icon is always significantly behind where the actual indicator is, for me. I have to click near the end of the highlighted area to get it to land in the center.

wtf I have gotten 100% like 7 times now but not giving me badge for it. The percent goes away so fast too little time to take scrn shot.

also, the fact that damage carries over between chapters can be rough, sometimes you start a chapter with two characters who are at 20% health :/

kind of silly that optimal strategy is to reset skills of whichever character you aren't fighting with to maximize health, for greatest regeneration between battles, then change skills back to actually fight :/

This is a most excellent game! The artwork is good and provides an excellent atmosphere. The theme is great and one which I find most appealing. The game provides a reasonable enough challenge at the higher levels. Gameplay and mechanics aside, I'd say this game has the makings of being a great game!
Gameplay and mechanics are *deceptively* complex - at first glance this game looks to be very simple and not worth playing for long, but the skills form such intricacies at later levels that you really have to strike a balance to make a character survive. Bravo! 5/5
Please make more of these!!! ;)

Dull and blend looking game...but I really had a great time with it! Pretty challenging even tough it's pretty simple!

Really liked the game! Boss battle came a little sudden, and even in hard it was too easy. Looking forward to the sequel!

Hard mode Last Flake with 200hp and 15% regen/turn>30 HP per turn when the hard boss does about 20DMG/turn. Yeah. I enjoyed the game, keep it up. :)

Is the progress of the needle through the hit bar meant to be variable and jerky, or is that just lag on my computer?

oh, LowManji already told us. Well, he shouldn't have hid it in the middle of his post with a general guide. :P By the way, with enough points instead of what LowManji suggested, you could also go full in the offence with the detective, as with the hunter and play the hunter on healing with the Viper Move and Tortoise Pose, just take a defensive stand before you use Viper Move. Anyway, probably this is what I like about this game: the diversity in playing your characters. Really a great game!
