first game I've favorited in probably a year and a half. beautiful game. it lacks the usual monotony of point-and-click gameplay.

Huge thanks to the devs -- thanks to this game, I've finally stumbled on the name of a song that's been rattling around in my head since last winter! (Mozart's Symphony No. 40 in G Minor.)

Great game, but needs an option to turn off the hints. Just because I'm not fast doesn't mean I don't want to do it on my own.

The game won't load for me at all. If I'm lucky, they are just trying to fix some of the bugs that I see other users reporting.

Our family was impressed by the mixing of tanagrams, sound puzzles, hidden objects, and other puzzles into one beautiful game. Impressed by the time involved just in designing all the music boxes and rooms! The info on the composers, musical instruments, and compositions was great fun! Despite the frustrations others have mentioned, we found this to be a remarkable game! Well done!

The music creation portion of this game is fun and interesting. I really like the idea of using my ears to solve puzzles, and that while you can eventually come up with a solution by playing it like a jigsaw puzzle, it's really a combination of the two methods that gets you not only the best results but the more fun results, too. I do, however, dislike the outline search. There is far too much hand-holding (sparkles leading the way before much time has passed), and no way to turn the help off; there's nothing rewarding about having the game point out all of the papers while my role is just to collect them.

Incredibly unique and incredibly difficult for me. The clicking was a little arduous and so was the tutorial. But, generally, this is really interesting. 5/5

this game has earned its place in best of 2009 quest for a reason. 5/5
p.s. usually i dont like puzzle games, but this is AWESOME

You can still get the medium badge. You have to find all but one of the outlines to be able to finish 18 songs with the 3 room limit.

Nevermind, i just had to rightclick, go into settings, disallow kongregate to put stuff in the PC memory, and reload. Now i just need a way to skip the tutorial, i want first to get everything from the start, then finally solving them without any stops

and i'm just being an ass here, but "My Bonnie Lies Over the Ocean" was a childhood memory of mine, so why do i not remember at ALL hearing a version so upbeat?

A very interesting concept, but I find it almost lacking in the story department. What happened to grandpa? You never really provide closure on that front. The song puzzle mechanic is good and the songs sound (mostly) authentic, the hunt-n-find for the outlines however is a bit unessisary and could use some work.

Brilliant game!
I haven't even finished it,but I love how you make it a puzzle game with songs that almost everyone knows,as not to make it too hard, also how it hints little bits so you don't have to go looking for a walkthrough, this really does deserve a 5/5

they need to add a hard reset button, I hate how you can only play this once and then it is over. needs replayability, badly

The reason this Yankee Doodle sounds "bizarre" is because it's the ORIGINAL Yankee Doodle.

I love how the music starts out with simple children songs and then works its way to more fancy and complex music. Way to be awesome in the song ordering.

generally I hate hidden object games, but this one is actually fun. The music mechanic is unique and gives it something to make it stand out from the rest of the genre.

Absolutely charming and addicting. Great concept. Best hour spent today, best game played here. I found myself moving my hands in the air like a conductor...

The intro has way too much hand holding and thinks too little of the players. Too much okay I get it let me move on. I got the concept a while ago.

Maybe I missed something but I finished 17 songs, the last one that I can't finish is The Barber of Seville... The map shows that I have found all I can in the three rooms, it seems like there is nothing left. So how can I get the medium achievement for the Best of 2012 quest ? :[ I've read that this is only a demo and that we have to buy the game to have the 5 rooms but then, can't I got my achievement without buying the game ?
I think I missed something ._.

If there is a game to help you appreciate and discover or in my case redicover Classical music its this game. 5/5 stars

I'm a bit concerned as to why the trombone player has to stand in when another instrument is clearly playing. Is he just an overachiever? Or has he killed the other players? Darker forces are at work here.

(EDIT) Guide to find the Outlines: 1- On the piano, click it to pull down the lid and you'll see it. 2- Turn on the lamp, on the right side of the room, the outline will show up as a shadow. 3- On the right side of the room, in the LOWER right side of the cabinet. Click it to open. 4- Click the gramofone to turn it, the piece should be there. 5- Look in the chair, on the right side of the room there is a piece there. 6- Easy, in the book on the music stand, near the piano. There is a piece there. 7- On the Da Vinci drawing, there is a piece on the lower right side. 8- Inside the mandolin (next to the violin, right side of the room) there is a piece inside. Hope this helps.

Is it just me or the room with 11 clues (I think it is the basement) does not load? I picked up every clue in the starting room (shows "0" on the map), but when I click in the 11 clue room I get a brief "Wait" message and then nothing but some background chords. It never loads. I already tried to clear cache, delete saved state, and try another day. Nothing worked. Latest Firefox and Flash Player.
Yes, sorry about that - servers went down(Mochi shutdown). Tomorrow I`ll move rest of rooms to Kongregate servers, and if possible - i`ll add rest of rooms. Sorry about that.
