any hotkeys to switch between color and x? I feel annoyed having to switch by clicking, the best is when x is the right mouse button. Otherwise, a really good game!

@Flypool you can use the X and square buttons at the bottom to switch between the two if you want to only use the mouse.

This is my favorite implementation of these types of puzzles. I like that if you correctly complete the beginning of a line it grays out the correct values. I would love to see a level creator where people could create and share puzzles.

Is the last level possible without guessing or abusing the way indicators work? I spent hours trying to solve it logically, without success. But I'm not experienced in picross strategies, so I might have assumed wrong. Anyone did it?

i was going to give 5 stars before the tartoise level, then i couldn't go further just with logic but i noticed the numbers on the border turns lighter when you get them right, so you can basically just try every single piece over and over until you get them randomly right.
From a puzzle game to a mechanical work, i hope it was me that couldn't guess it right but please remove that hint with the colors change on the border anyway...

The clues break the game... they don't light up until you fill in the right box, even if it matches the clues. So you can solve every puzzle by just trying every box. Please fix that so that the clues light up as long as there is correct number of ticked boxes inside crosses. This way it would help as a reminder of what rows and columns are done, but would not allow cheating.
It really killed all the fun in the game for me when there is a way to cheat one's way out of every puzzle.

Found it quite challenging and enjoyable, but then I noticed the clues light up when you're right. then it just became a trial and error game

I actually uncovered a cheat of sorts: if you fill what's left of a row with Xs and then place the leftmost or rightmost number that's not grayed out of blocks in at that edge, it won't gray the number out until you get it in the right position. every other game that I've seen do nonograms always grays out the number, even if it's incorrect, so you can't use it as a guide toward the right solution.

Whenever I take a long time to finish the Devil's puzzles, he gets this expression like: "I know that idle hands do my work, but can you hurry it up already?"

This game is pretty cool. Nice and relaxing. The controls are pretty smooth too. I just wish it had more in-game storytelling. There's clearly a story here, but it's not being told. The puzzles just put items from the story onto the screen, but the story itself isn't being TOLD..... Still a nice puzzle game though.
A major issue I have with this is that it seems that there are multiple solutions for some puzzles. I currently solved one of the early-level puzzles, and all the numbers are faded white because I've put the X'S in where the []'s aren't, but the game isn't accepting my solution. I don't want to have to go through all of that again just to get the "correct" solution. You should fix that. Puzzles shouldn't have multiple solutions if the game is programmed to only accept a certain one.

You did not run your nonograms through a solver, later puzzles are literally impossible without guesswork or trial and error, and that's bad.

Fun Stuff!
@carrots4: the hint in game is if u fill in the correct blanks in the line and block it off w/ an X or fill out the entire line, the number in that line 'greys' out, if u have finished an entire line and any number in that line is still black it means u have filled in the incorrect spaces. Just w/ this hint is more than enough to complete em all.

The 10X10 puzzle consisting of all 1s and 2s, with one 5 and one 6 thrown in, only seems solvable through trial and error, since there are no hints available. The preceeding puzzles were OK, but that one is terrible.
