good game but the power ups are annoying because half the time if you are being followed it is hard to get the ones you want

The moment when everything is upgraded and you are scrambling for any ground left intact for you to run on while on your last life. And then a meteor hits you. Rage follows.... xD

5 Things to know about this game 1. It sucks to have arachnophobia 2. I had no idea planets 1/100 times the size of pluto had hot magma 1 foot below the surface 3.If this is the usa mission id like to see how epic the soviets will be! 3. This is the most epic battle since 300. 4. The goverment likes to draft EVERYONE into this fight 5. Playing on a trackpad sucks (no right click and slow movement)

I was thinking about giving it a 4/5, but when I saw that some of the enemies could blow up pieces of the asteroid and you could do so yourself by firing a beam, it became a 5/5 from me to you.

This game has some significant flaws, the foremost being the issue regarding movement and firing at the same time. I am all into realism in games, for example movement spread, but the charecter in this when firing single shot with single mouse clicks has a real issue with accuracy. the second issue is the matter of the incredibly short tutorial. We dont know whether or not to go for the powerups in the beginning, are they helpful or are they bombs that the spiders leave behind ? This game has great playability but lacks in simply usability issues. a levelling system would be great to add extra depth, but if you want an arcade angled game it was good 3/5 but easily 5/5 with the aforementioned issues taken of.

Aww...I made it to Wave 16 -- lots of black creatures and hives. Got killed by a roid landing on top of me. Black + black doesn't work.

So...in the future, the US periodically sends high school kids to tiny asteroids infested with alien bugs with no backup or training and tell them to save the world?
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
it should not be possible to have the aliens crash onto the player and lose 4 lives. i never died of spiders killing me, only those

Besides the Unity3D effect the game was quite boring. Run around, kill everything you see and collect power-up's....kind of 80's nintendo 8 bit :D
Where are the innovative upgrades, scenes, stages, worlds?

highly addictive...though, if you can get totally upgraded (max speed, max fire rate, max power, max plasma ball) the game becomes too easy. I stopped playing at wave 99, 164432300 points, still 8 hearts, 8 plasma ball. The difficulty level becomes fixed after a certain point, you get always the same 3 meteors (and a really easy way to handle them at that point). There is no wave 100: after wave 99, new waves are not called, just 3 new meteors strike after you eliminate all previous spiders and meteors, the counter stops at 99. You still score like usual and the game seems to go on like this forever (I guess). I would really appreciate a 2.0 version with some more spiders upgrades, and maybe you can add a "boss" meteor every 5 or 10 levels? And obviously that would need some more upgrades! By the way...plasma balls are not useful at all, at least the way I play it. Thanks for the game, it's still a really good one

Why is this called Space Trooper USA? In what way does the USA have anything to do with this? The planet you're fighting to protect is a barren rock, not the United States. The bug aliens are not American bug aliens and there's nothing to indicate that the trooper is American. Maybe you could put a little flag on the rock, and the trooper could be fighting for... manifest destiny?

"Your are an high school student" Oh gods...please fix this. Either "You are a high school student" or "You're a high school student".

Great start to a game, but it needs to be taken further. The gameplay's fun, but dancing & shooting on a ball gets stale fast. Keep this as your core gameplay, but expand on it. Different worlds, starmap, stores, objectives, add some strategy as to what planets you go after, etc ...

Commander: We are sending one of you into the most unreachable part of space with out any help whatsoever! Soldiers: Ooookkkkaaaayyyy!?

Good game. Might I suggest that the power-ups, instead of being used immediately, have them be saved and have their own hotkeys (1,2,3, etc.), so that you can use them when it's convenient, like the ground healing one. Might make for a more strategic game.

Thats what happens when a soldier sleeps with the Captain's daugther. Is sent ALONE to an ABANDONED little planet... where spiders kill him
