Scrolled down a bit to check out the comment section; I must admit that the scene that pops up when the game has been out of focus for a while sure is interesting.
The game is also really great; 5/5 stars.

They might not look like much, but get loot upgrades first. That way, you'll have more coin to spend on weapons by the time things get tough. + If it helped.

Best Advice... Get your ships loot and magnet up then speed up in beginning of game try to avoid hitting enemy's. Farm the chests its rough but it works.

I've played a lot. High score is 21,340. My thoughts: (1) Anchors should be slightly more plentiful and/or regular after the defeat of the first set of final bosses; and (2) The second boss' eyeballs take too many hits - even when I go into that fight with a big gun, there are still nearly all of the eyeballs remaining when the ship goes down.

This game is only lacking one major thing, in my book.... the ability to buy more life. There's nothing worse than being stuck going into the final battle with only one anchor left, and a few thousand coins still in the bank, knowing that there's no way to stock up on health first. Aside from that, it's still a game that I just have to keep playing again and again.

The easiest way to build up a decent ship until the last boss in my opinion is to upgrade the ship to lvl 2 at the starting of the game and buy the 4th lvl and 3rd lvl loot bonus. Then, upgrade the ship with the rest of the money and wait to buy the sail. Never upgrade the cannon before the second boss so you'll stay longer in the levels and be able to open more chest. Then, for the final boss, lvl 4 cannon, lvl 3 cannon, lvl 4 speed, lvl 4 flag, lvl 4 sail. After the final boss, switch the flag back to loot.

Lachh the pirate shows up and gives you $50 if you click off the game and wait a few seconds... it adds to your starting money too.

To get free gold from Lachhh (the last medal), just click to another window while playing then go back to the original window. A picture of a guy in a pirate hat and eyepatch should appear in the bottom right hand corner. Just click on that picture. Rate up to keep this comment alive.

Tip for the second boss, you need a decent speed ship so you can dodge stuff, it seems obvious after finally realizing a fully offence geared ship doesn't work

(after the first boss fight) 2 Boss: "We need something that will beat that tiny ship that beat boss" #1. 1st mate: "Right. What we DON'T want to do is spin in circles randomly firing cannons-" Boss 2: "I know! We'll spin in circles while randomly firing our cannons WITH green and red eyeballs circling us!" 1st mate: ".........."

A tip for getting the hard badge: boss arrival is triggered by killing a certain number of mooks. I abused this to get my ship fully upgraded before reaching the final boss. (1) At max level, buy the first two ship upgrades. Get loot/magnet 4, speed 4 and loot/magnet 3. You want to minimize killing mooks so that you can collect as many treasure chests as possible before the boss arrives. You can kill the first boss with basic weapon and easily survive stage 2 with speed 4. (2) Don't upgrade till the second boss arrives. By then you should have enough money to upgrade your ship again and buy flag 4. With good evasion skills this will get you past the second boss. (3) Keep farming chests, don't upgrade till the final boss arrives. You should now have enough money to upgrade your ship fully and buy literally any stats you like.

To get the free gold, click outside the window and lose focus in the flash window. Wait for the pirate to pop up and start complaining at you. He will offer you gold to come back.
