Man, the menu countdown is a life saver, you can enter and exit it and get 3 seconds to plan your next move. Try it when the situation get tricky.

To get the free gold just move your mouse outside of the game window and click once. After a short wait you'll see the dev. pop up in the bottom corner, say a few things, then offer you free gold if you get back in the game. Hope that helps thsoe looking for 100% completion.

lmao the pause pirate just bribed me to keep playin, for the type of game i actually like it, normally more into shooters or rpgs, but cool game. 5/5 cause the p.p. made me laugh

I love the convenience in the game that the 2nd boss, the submarine, actually doesn't fight underwater to not make the fight impossible for us to win. What a fair boss, I say.

The moment when you think you beat the final boss with one life and you are hovering over it to collect the money,then BAM another boss pops out and you die

Its a cool game! Its cool that get extra money each time you start a game. It would be pretty much impossible without it.

Ships shoot billions of cannonballs into the sea, sharks eats them and poops out gold. Sounds like the perfect eco system!

"Frantic Frigates" is an overall enjoyable game. I love the fact that I can earn more starting gold by completing more of the game. The controls are very simple, which goes well with the simple gameplay. Its only downfall is that it does become repetitive and a little boring after beating the bosses for the first time; it gets to the point where I am facing the same enemies over and over.
For a tip, use starting money on loot and magnet bonuses to earn money quickly. Afterward, put money toward the best flag. Speed isn't as essential as the other stats and you will still have some points invested in it from the flag, so then start to focus on your weapon and fire rate. Good luck. :)

Know what sucks, dying as you kill the angry flame version of the last boss and ending at 99%. Then doing it twice in a row. All in all an awesome game though.

for >30k: get LV4 Chest, upgrade ship asap, get LV4 Flag, upgrade ship asap, get LV3 Flag, upgrade ship asap, get either LV4 Weapon/LV3 Fire Rate, upgrade ship asap, get either LV4 Weapon/LV3 Fire Rate. the rest is up to you an your skill.

Trick to the 30k (Assuming you have decent starting gold): First buy two ship upgrades, the level 4 loot, the level 3 flag, and the level 2 loot. Your goal is to max loot and magnet while still being somewhat offensive. Next you'll need to save 2k gold to swap out the level 2 loot for the level 4 flag (You do get a small refund for selling the loot). When you can, buy the 2k ship and the level 4 weapon. This will be your set up until you reach the final boss. When you do you'll want to sell the level 4 loot and buy level 4 sails so that you can dodge like crazy. Beat that last boss. Buy the last ship upgrade, sell the sails, buy back the loot, and buy the level 2 flag. The goal here is to be as offensive as possible while still keeping loot maxed. When you reach the "last" boss for the second time sell the level 2 flag and buy the level 4 sails again. Afterwards sell the sails and buy the flag again (Old set up). You'll need to gather about 4k loot here to make it. Good luck!

I'm so tired of this NOT saving my progress. I'll play, take a small break, and have to start over. It saves achievements, but not medals or progressive money. So sad... this could be a good game.

A good strategy is once you are getting over 1000 plus income in the beginning of the map increase your income and your speed and hold down the left mouse button to go off the map wait for chests to start appearing and just go around the map while remaining off the map to collect chests i have maxed my guy out on lives and income from the first level TY + if you agree or try it and like : )

Its amazing how one canon on the front of an enemy ship not only fires triple shots but it also gives more durability -_-

Easy way to reach 100% completion. When you have enough starting gold, purchase level 3 and 4 loot/magnet. When you kill the second boss, you should then sell the magnet and buy the level 3 and 4 damage boost and level 3 and 4 fire rate boost. Rate up so people can see
