u bastard. when i defeated the flying dutchman the first time i was like YAY :3, i did not expect him to just start raping me immediatly, especially when i had only 1 health. that was just cruel dude, just cruel.

huh, after loosing the saved game and starting anew, I found that all it takes to easily beat this game is a pc that gets 25fps instead of 70.
easy to dodge bullets and giant floating eyes.
also, this game is sooooo much better than most shoot them up games we have arround here

if you get all flags and the last cannon upgrade you'll get 8/7/5/6/8
if you buy all bottom row upgrades it'll be 6/7/7/7/7
either way it's 34 total stat points

my strategy to beat final boss,
at start, upgrade ship to lv2, buy 3rd and 4th treasure chest (stats 1/1/1/8/8)
save up money till 2nd boss
once 2nd boss APPEARS upgrade to lv3 and buy last flag(stats 1/1/5/8/8)
upgrade ship to lv 4 buy last cannon (5/1/5/8/8)
when final boss APPEARS, sell the treasure upgrades and buy last rate and last flag upgrades
(5/5/5/1/1) this should be enough to beat this boss but you need good dodging skills on the Thunder battle.

For those of you trying to get the harder badges, an easy way to get upgrades fast is to start off with upgrades that increase your loot and then later switch them off for attack and fire rate when you don't need/want so much loot.

Took me a long time to figure out that you can sell items too. So when trying to get "kill boss without being hit" medals, sell your treasure magnet and buy another gun. For me, the second boss was harder than the other 3 (I have trouble dealing with things moving in spirals). Sold my magnet and ended up with best gun, best rapid, and 2nd-best gun. At that point the bullets were strong enough to destroy those circling shields.... medal achieved.

Ahhh, sweet victory over another hard badge. :D I have to say I'm still mad at the 29 398 I got on my other try. <.< But this time I got lucky and got 3 lives in a few secs after boss the second time. ^_^ So yeah guys, all I can say is you have to grind a little for the initial gold, what I get is flag 4, chest 4, flag 3/cannon 4 (in any order) and finally flag 2 to max dmg and raise speed a little (I tried getting firing speed 4 and the damage wasn't as high), of course, you can feel free to try other things. Great game! :D

So, all the comments on how to find Lachhh the pirate have been unclear. Here is a simple one: if you click outside of the game or on another tab in your browser, the game will automatically pause. Lachhh will come after some time, and eventually will bribe you to come back. Just click on the game again and you have your reward.

I like the fact that you earn more starting money for next time when you die, but i beat the game on my first try and i think it is too easy.

To make the the purchasing of lives balanced, I suggest making their price increase in proportion to the amount of starting cash someone has from their rank and their medals. Maybe their starting cash divided by two or three with a minimum of three hundred gold per life? The cost of lives could also go up mid-game if you were to recieve medals or break a threshold for ranks. Another possibility would be to have lives start out at 100 gold per life, and increase in cost by 50% for every life bought. For example your first life would cost 100 gold, your second life would cost 150 gold, your third life would cost 225 gold, your fourth life would cost 338 gold and so on.
