A bit too easy. I'm not good at this type of games, yet had no troubles earning the "hard" badge (died more of boredom than of difficulty). Though I guess on touchpads it becomes more difficult than with a real mouse.

Now if only I could see half of the bullets the final boss was shooting, but nah, the heavy rain and lightning is much more necessary than actually being able to kill the boss.

I really liked this game, up until I became a sea lord. I'm very poor at these arcade-style games, but I had thought I'd found one that would reward persistence, by increasing the levels. Unfortunately, sea lord is the last level, and I have all the awards except for destroying Thunder, so there is no way I can earn more starting cash. What was a fun game has now become tedium and frustration, repeating the same objectives over and over without any improvements from the game until that one occasion when my observation and co-ordination last out the entire game. I've downgraded this from 4 stars to 1 star. Shame, I had really loved it there for a moment.

I really hate myself: I died on the third rematch with the final boss, my score was 29,475. Just one of those moments when you despise a game.

how about a full out mute option? Only thing I dont like about the game is the inability to completely turn the sound off in game

Y(arrgh)... I had cleared my cache of treasure and my pirate battleship is out of its bay... (I hope that nobody else has cleared out their Internet cache and had to start over for the Badge of the Day!)

well after u went thru it few times its easy to play this game forever i ended up doing suicide by not clicking anything after i did 3 full rounds of game

winning in one try. just keep upgrading your ship and stacking pirate flags. Also play "Frantic 1" "Frantic 2" and "Frantic 3", after going through that bullet hell this is a cakewalk ;D

Disregard the upgrade system completely, except to spend your money on upgrades that allow you to earn more money to spend on more upgrades that allow you to earn even more money...

yay! only had to beat up the final boss twice (and die just before facing it the third time) to get 35997 points, and considering i started with a best score of 4,556 I'm happy, still a great game 5/5

Should be free in the istore still - its stupid this game is already a year old and STILL THE SAME FREE ADVERTISEMENT is visible in this flash game,. that free in the app store has passed LONG since,.. UPDATE IT ALREADY! False advertising is bad hmmkay?

So cool!! 34k$ in endless mode without problems. weapon lvl 7, fire rate lvl 8, speed lvl 4, loot and magnet lvl 8. -2 Flags, -1 cannon, -1 treasure, -1 bomb (with max level possible) This tactic is for people with zero luck like me.

Small guide to hard badge: play for a while to learn the attack patterns of the bosses and raise your starting money to like 2k. Start with a ship upgrade and both +3 and +4 loot. By 1st boss you can get another ship upgrade and a +2 weapon (no more is required). When 2nd boss come, you can probably replace +3 loot for the highest pirate flag. For the last boss, you can have another ship upgrade, replace +2 weapon to +4 weapon, and get 3rd pirate flag. After it, you can have the last ship upgrade, then replace +4 loot to +4 fire rate and buy 2nd pirate flag. You ship will be powerful, just flee when you are surrounded, few enemies are no match for you. After defeating the last boss for like +2x, you should have enough score for hard badge. Give it a +.

my tips for the hard badge: get enough starting gold to buy lv4 flag and lv4 loot at the beginning.Next get cannon lv 4, then cannon lv 3. Then you will face the final boss (you should have at least 3 lives left to make it easier). Then upgrade your ship to the last level then buy flag lv3. The rest is mostly a matter of skill and a bit luck. When the boss meter is full again you will fight the last boss again. When you defeat him the second time you should have more or less enough points to get the badge.

It's funny how I died at the second boss like a thousand times, then eventually beat the last boss without even trying.

what type of cannon shoots 1x massive ball 2x big balls and a couple of medium balls ???.
You must buy the fourth pirate flag, third pirate flag and +4 wepon cannon.
