Small guide to hard badge: play for a while to learn the attack patterns of the bosses and raise your starting money to like 2k. Start with a ship upgrade and both +3 and +4 loot. By 1st boss you can get another ship upgrade and a +2 weapon (no more is required). When 2nd boss come, you can probably replace +3 loot for the highest pirate flag. For the last boss, you can have another ship upgrade, replace +2 weapon to +4 weapon, and get 3rd pirate flag. After it, you can have the last ship upgrade, then replace +4 loot to +4 fire rate and buy 2nd pirate flag. You ship will be powerful, just flee when you are surrounded, few enemies are no match for you. After defeating the last boss for like +2x, you should have enough score for hard badge. Give it a + ;O)

well i beat the last boss without being hit but then the left over shots hit and killed me i still dont know how it took those last 3 lives...

Great 5/5 game, but i have one Comment. PLEASE!!! if/when you make a sequel to this game, ADD A SCORE BAR!!!! I beat the last boss on freeplay 5 times, constantly wondering if i had enough score for the badge, untill I finally risked it and kileld myself, to learn that I'd gotten around 60K and wasted half an hour. Other than that, superb game.

I thought this game really wasn't that hard. It was definitely fun, but I just beat it with a touch-pad before I even got the second badge. Anyone else think the second boss was the hardest?

purchase lives for 3k but make that possible, it's kind of frustrating to have 20k gold and just 1 last hit to die :/

I wonder how many people actually did the hard badge on their first try, I know for a fact at 8 games, I had barely made Pirate...

This is a really fun kind of addictive game. And if I'm not mistaken same people who did the Jack Black video game that was on the Xbox. Good stuff. 5/5

I'm somewhat dissapointed. This game is too easy and too short. Got the bades and 40k pts in my first run, which took about an hour, then I dont see many reasons to play it again. All this ,,starting money for medals and levels'' system is pointless unless the game will be more challening. I hope for expanded version of it, with some miniboses maybe?

The ultimate upgrade would be something that makes more anchors spawn... I only encountered 5 before I died, ending with a score of around 10,000.

@Snozmonkey. You know your Highscore is basically how high you've gotten your money at one point right? So technically there IS in fact a way to tell your high schore...lol

I have tried so many times to beat the game with a trackpad and keep destroying the last boss as my last life is taken leaving me with 99% completion. I'm not bad at games I promise you, keyboard would be easier

I found a bit of a glitch.. well, kinda major. If you destroy a chest and collect the stuff in the time period before the boss message appears but after the enemies stop spawning, the money isn't added... I had $487, I collected like 3 diamonds, and I still have $487.

Is there a reason why I can't seem to get beyond 27,784 pts? This is the MAX score that I seem to be able to get. One two occasions now I've gotten that same exact score, even though I'm pretty sure I did MUCH MUCH better on my second run than I did on my first run. It's telling me its my "New Highscore" even though I've gotten that same exact score before.

Who would have guessed that a Big pirate ship with tons of cannon's spun in circles and shot at a tiny ship pirates now 'a' days.

This game teaches me never to go away from my keyboard while playing a game cause if I do a pirate will come out of nowhere and yell at me.
