I found a pretty useless but cool glitch. In the beginning when you only have the stick (1) and the red throwing axe (5), you can use the blue throwing axe without having it.
Have the red axe equipped; throw it and IMMEDIATELY after attacking, press 1 to switch to the stick. If done correctly, you will do a slight dash forward and you will throw the blue axe! Enjoy this useless but cool glitch! :D

I think Butterfly and Cutybunny are always in the same bush. Butterfly in NW of the village, the NW most bush. Bunny is W of your house, NW most bush.

Did.. this guy seriously freeze an entire river of lava with 1 attack right in world 1? @_@ Why does anyone even pose any trouble for him?!

Brought back fond memories, I enjoyed this one a lot. @Isolde123...you also should have 4 treasures and a ring and of course beating "Gordzack" than you should get your badge. If still nothing try to refresh the page.

Lvl 21 Attack gives triple lazorz,
Lvl 21 Magic gives unlimited magic use (magic costs 1 and you kind of have to have already obtained the Magic Elixir to get Lvl 21 magic)
Lvl 21 Health (presumably) grants immortality.

i took the time to level up to max in the Colosseum (ie, everything to level 21) -- and the final level perks are way OP.
After you reach level 20 in all stats, you can get to level 21 in each for 99,999 exp per stat. Then you get the following:
Attack: Sword attacks shoot a 3 beam spread of lightning that deals 999 damage
Magic: All skills use 1 mp
Health: All attacks that hit you deal you 1 hp

Butterfly gives ridiculous xp (I am at 10,9,9), I have first 4 findable items, first findable shield, first findable armor and Fire Armor.

In the Coliseum: To defeat the boss Red Ghoul, stand behind him and throw your boomeraxe at him. When he goes to cast the ball that chases you and his hand is off the screen, the ball glitches and disappears.
When killing moths, it is best to be in front of their move path then swiping like crazy with your sword. They are stuck on that path and will die at your feet. Try not to let them get too close.
Final Boss: Brutus, Much like World 2 Dungeon 1's boss, he casts lightning. stand at his corner and smack him around with your sword, he cant do anything to you because he's thinks he is more melee than he is. Watch for shadows!
At about 100,000xp per run coliseum is the easiest place to rack up xp.
+1 to show others.

For the last badge, if you miss like me one monster in your bestiary - the butterfly - you can find it in level 2, on your map it's 3rd area (the top cave), the butterly is hidden in a bush on the left of the cave. The other hidden monster is cuttybunny, found in a bush area on the left of your house. 5/5 have fun !

Finally completely beat it. I loved it, but I didn't like having to grind for the last few thousand gold to get every item.
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
completed the game (and all badges) in about 10 hours playtime, maybe a bit less. I don't know why people say you have to grind exp to be able to advance, I never felt the need for it. The hardest boss for me was probably that eyeball dude, since I forgot to take patches. Remember that the special attack of the sword also makes u invurnerable for about 0.5 - 1 seconds, this can be handly to dodge some boss attacks. It's true that the game is quite repetitive though. Even so, I still enjoyed it. 4/5

hah. I am totally stuck and don't know where to go after killing first boss... saw a link in the game description, and got a warning it was an attack page. Guess I won't get to finish this one, because I've searched every square inch of every map I can get to. Ah well.

Great game. I spent like 45 minutes trying to find the last key for the first fortress in world 2 and I just gave up.

Yeah, after playing some more, I have to agree with that. It's just getting worse and worse. The last straw was the lvl 30 arena boss. Why the fcuk would you need to give that snorefest 5 billion hp ? You can get him stuck at a corner, too, makeing it even more tedious. Carpal tunnel syndrome, the game.

Sadly, it's just hour after hour of boring and repetitive hack and slash. Zelda at least had interesting stories, characters and settings to keep it fresh.

@theNickyboy: Actually, despite the top-down perspective it resembles the second Zelda game more, with the leveling system, health and magic meter styles, and so on.

Pretty nice parody of the zelda franchise, more specifically the first one! Favorited it so I can come back to it later!

To Dawndmon: No, the FIRST zelda game that came out did NOT have a spin slash, though it was a very cool game and definitely introduced a few new things to the gaming world.
As for THIS game.. It's pretty fun, definitely got some funny dialog, and some groaners, I like how it took elements from a few of the old zelda titles and made a neat lil retro style game. Decent time waster.
Good job to the Creator!
