As much as I love the game, there DESPERATELY needs to be checkpoints. It really sucks having to do EVERYTHING all over.

It's rated by time, damage taken, buildings destroyed, and enemy units destroyed. It also registers the time it takes you to complete each Mini-Boss.

ALSO, the framerate and lag seemed to actually go away when I turned the quality up, which seemed to make performance towards the gold stars much much easier. Hope sharing my experiences here has been useful to someone.

so...anyone else like how the story says "one day we were attacked out of the blue. The next minute we're forming a resistance on a distant planet with me, a civilian farmer, as one of the top soldiers"

It seems some of the side missions give 3 stars if you kill all the enemies. This didn't work for all of them though.

Ok, the way the stars work in the side missions is how many enemies you kill, no moatter how long you take, or your HP levels.

What this game needs is more eye-candy, and better sound fx. Game play is just plain good old fun.

Perhaps one of the better mecha games on this site... I love it. As for the minimap idea stated earlier, I had no problem following the compass right at the bottom of you're weapon bars. Any way... I loved it!

how do you get rank in side missions? I barely take any damage, slaughter everything, and still no stars? not even bronze? why?

Lol at the turret in Goliant III that is placed in a narrow path blocked by a wall that can't even attack you because its too far from the wall.

great game, very enjoyable! my only pet peeve is that when a game has "kill x number of y" or "collect x of z" or "die x times" medals / achievements, it should show your progress towards them. also, a minimap would be nice, or at least buttons more convenient to reach than O or P. those are just minor annoyances though, still gave the game a well-deserved 5/5.

The entire and the only rebel stronghold in the planet is under attack and they only send 1 walker to defend it. The general landed on a hostile area and they only send a walker. There are civillians in a enemy occupied area and they only send YOU...alone! You can blow up structures and big fat tanks but not trees or a sand bag wall. Why wont they send a squadron of other walkers or friendly tanks to help me in my darn important mission the intel says.

RANK checked. You have to go as FAST as possible and destroy everything. It seams that number of hits you take is really not so important here. I got some Gold and my hint is rush, rush and rush as fast as you can.

Really impressed by the extra level of difficulty added by the popup messages appearing over my mech so I can't see what I'm doing. Hardcore.

For those who don't know, HARD badge is talking about Medal Wall in the menu, not about the medals or amount of them you earn them through missions or side missions. They are easy to get if you have time.

Come on! The badge says REACH wave 10 in Survival, not SURVIVE wave 10 in Survival! I reached it but didn't survive it. :(

Note: The Unstoppable Badge says you have to REACH wave 10. But you actually have to FINISH wave 10. Rate + to show everybody.

Brilliant game! Some suggestions: The map is really streched out, maybe make it a little less wide. A health bar for every enemy so i know how many health it has left. A few typing errors but that does'nt really bother me. overall epic game! 5/5
