This was a visually pretty game and there was a lot of thought into it. One of the best I've played in a long time. Kudos!

FAV 5/5 :)
Thanks for telling me this amazing story about Magic, Adventure, and Rainbows.
While most of games just have tons of "stunning graphics" or an "incredible Gameplay" this game has its Story and I Could say, it's better than graphics or gameplay. We are truly transported to the "Rainbow World", we dive on each character feelings and more, although this game appears simple, we became caught by its beauty and deepness.
I Hope I could play more games like this.
What about a sequel or a new story? *-*

This is beautiful, creative, and hilarious. I sorta get a Phantom Tollbooth-Discworld feel from it, and that's definitely a good thing. Well done.

This is an absolutely beautiful game. The music was perfectly haunting and apt for the storyline. the simplicity of the graphics belie the huge amount of effort I am sure the developers put into drawing them.
This is by far the best flash game I have played this year that will leave a deep impression on me. Thanks guys, for a great hour of game time.

Talking to the woman at the start of the game has an intense amount of dialog in one spot. Dialog is cool, but if you give someone that much text to absorb in one spot, they'll gloss over it and get bored.
I suggest, in the future, you break that amount of content into smaller pieces and give the player things to do between them. I'm not talking about putting a lot of gameplay between stuff like that. But, if you give the player even a little bit of interactivity to break it up, you'll avoid that trap of monotony.
Overall, this game feels a little underdone, but keep making games, the effort will pay off.
Good start!
The entire game is dialogues, and was made exactly as intended. Except for Norman, I wanted him to fly around and change colours like a mushroom hallucination. He is, after all, part Doors, part Fear and Loathing and part Alice in Wonderland.

I will admit that when I started, I was uninterested. The artwork is amateur and the beginning seemed a bit forced.
But the plot and message were solid and sweet, and made really me want to see the end (not to mention adorable characters, and impressive mystery that makes you wonder). And the artwork, though amateur, only emphasizes its underlying message. 5/5, simple yet absolutely superb game.

A great game all around. The story, the atmosphere, and the gameplay were all top notch. The puzzles were actually enjoyable and logical as well. Definitely a game I would recommend to others. Good job developers.

Great game absolutely love the simplicity and the placid music. However, there is a misspelling "metaphore" should be "metaphor".
However, that doesn't concern me. 5/5

Great storyline, nice art, very intuitive interface. The only flaw was the dialogue, but it didn't get in the way of the gameplay. I especially liked the comic book cutscenes. They gave the sense of time passing, but without the grind of other adventure games. 5/5

Congratulations on getting more attention, I seriously thought the game was going to go mostly ignored on this site.
I believe you mentioned a short story that you based the game on... have you made that available yet?

LINEAR STORYLINE MUST BE LINEAR!
which isn't always bad. I guess. I never really liked linear game storylines, not when the game is this good.
cuz it is. This game is amazing. clever little puzzles, a great story, a good message, and a nice ending. Nice art, nice music. I love it. and, please do make that short story! It'll be awesome, I'm sure.

I love all the little details woven into the game, and I think the atmosphere created with the art, the music and the plot really made it a much more enthralling experience trying to get immersed into this imaginative world and solve the puzzles. Really wish you got a much better rating for this awesome game. 5/5 and favorited.

If I could vote Higher than 5/5 I would. This game epitomizes everything I want to do with my writing. Make people think and explore our world by exploring a different one. 5,000,000/5 for me guys. Fantastic Job!

I've never seen a game like this, and at first i didn't like it. Then, I talked to a cloud and my opinion changed. 5/5 :)

I like the descriptions for the Wizard's Tower and everything around it. Especially how the plant is the only one who isn't regarded as evil.

You have said that this is the end of the tale for this game and that this is no longer your story. I do not believe that to be true. For this game was merely a chapter, focusing on the actions of the detective. With the chapter finished, I look forward to the next chapter, aka sequel. Does this magic land influence anybody else? What will happen to the Queen in the beginning? What of the tree that grows there? What might he encounter? Will the wizard ever get a girlfriend? What are the other areas that you are able to explore in this magic land? There are many questions left unanswered within this game, within this chapter. They could only be answered by the next. As the creators, you brought forth this game from an idea you had, so I do hope you find the time to forge the next piece of the dream, as I would be awaiting it with an open mind.
Your points are all valid, but my reasoning is this: the world is alive. Things happen, things end and others begin. People live their own lives, and there are tons of other stories you could tell. It wouldn't be a problem to make a story about the other characters or about completely other places of the world, with different characters. I actually already know what some of the characters will be going through (as may be read, if I ever write Letters from Beyond the Rainbow ;) But that's just it. They live their own stories. This one was ours. We can't be in all places at once, do everything and see everything. We have to realize that. That is why the world actually feels alive.

Beautiful. I was left with a satisfied feeling in my stomach. You have just given an answer to life, universe and everything.

very deep and yet not hard to understand story. Dont get discouraged by the art (i didnt like it either). And dont be afraid that its gonna be boringly hard. If u are stuck u can click on the book botton-right side. 1st click small hint, 2nd click big hint, 3rd click u get the answer. I thought i wouldnt give it more than 3/5 cause of the art but changed my mind halfway through. 5/5 keep up the good work.

I like the mushroom happiness potion and the tick-tock crocodile (Peter Pan). I'm going to look for other stuff like that.

This is a beautiful little game you made here. Personally, I love the idea that each story is a whole world on its own. It's a wonderful thought to think that people live lives outside of what we see on a page or screen, and that they continue even when we finish reading it. And I would love to see more from this one, even if it doesn't come in the form of another game. After all, as is said in the game, stories can be powerful, especially well done ones like this.

This was just awful, honestly its as bad as the Red Hood and Alice games =\.
Ugly, boring, bad story, red text that is hard to read. I would not have played this were it not for badges and there are much better games without badges =\.

One thing I noticed is that the map shows a lot of "somewheres," makes me wonder, WHERE do they lead? But great game over all, the story was really nice, and the drawing was awesome!

At first glance the art looks juvenile and amateur, but closer look reveals that indeed it's well done and competent, it's just the medium (scribbly and hastily shaded colored pencil and smudged graphite) deceives the eye into thinking it's bad. Haha, what a way to trick me.
