very deep story.. and amazing music.. very emotional. however wrote this deserves a medal.. and some cake.. after finishing the game, it made me feel all squishy inside, in a good way htough.. i would love to be able to see your "Letters from beyond the rainbow".. this is truly epic.. easily a 5/5.. and also if you drew those pictures, they're very good.. perhaps a link to the music would be nice. i love the smooth calm feel to the song.. as if the wind was blowing.. in my heart.. ^.^ i look forward to your future works whether they be games or novels because the story you wrote is amazing.
Hey!
There's a link to the whole soundtrack in the game description ;)
And actually, the chapter 4 and menu music is called When the Wind Blows, so you weren't wrong at all!

Oh, finally. A developer knowing the Discworld. You Sir, deserve my like :)
Not the most intensive game i ever played, but it's message is something that makes you think. Thanks
I'm a big fan of the earlier magical, whimsical, insane DW novels when Rince, the witches and captain Carrot and Nobby were King. The newer ones, they're touch and go; there's a different energy behind the writing and they just feel... not the same.

The music is heartwarming, it was interesting from the start, and though it may have given me amazing goosebumps, cursed here and there, been a little tough at times, and taken a little over two hours to read, it was definitely worth the experience. I believe this to be one of the most lesson-teaching thing I've read in over 4 or 5 years, and it'll have me thinking about it for the next month or so, affecting my choices, in a good, nay, WONDERFUL way. This game is worth the badge and so much more. I could go on, but there may be people reading the comments before reading this astounding webcomic, and suffice to say, i do NOT want to keep them waiting. May the Lord bless the creators, and my the ground quake as you pass. Thank you. ~Cc053

This is the first game that has pushed me down and pulled me back up in a while. I literally felt tears well up. This is story to be told.

Good job

For some time I was thinking about wasting my time and wanted to leave, but then I really started enjoying the plot! It makes you think and leads to a better life in the future, as the change is slow... It was a very complex, interesting story with a philosophical mood and humour at the same time. Great job!

Thanks for making this touching story. I really enjoyed playing through this game a few times over the past couple years. I had been looking for it for quite some time because I couldn't recall the name. I finally found it again last night and showed it to my wife. She really enjoyed seeing someone with the same views on things as she has, and the story moved her, as it did me. Thank you for making a touching, wonderful, and memorable game.

I'm guessing that this game is getting bad ratings from people who are really called Norman. Since my name isn't Norman, this gets a 5/5 from me. ;)
Eh, I think maybe it's because the game targets a very specific kind of people. In my experience, my favourite films/books/anything are almost never universally acclaimed, but the 'craft' that went into them can always be felt. Hopefully that's what we accomplished with all three of our games so far.

typo, in the scene after chapter one where you see the colorless woman, the part where it says "you own world" it's supposed to say "your own world".

I play games because they are fun, and are the only way to get away from the world I hate, but there are just the few things I see, whether it be in a book, game, or just about anything, that reminds me that one day, the world will be a better place again...

I found myself tearing up at the end. Very few games can achieve beauty like this. It's something that the adventure genre sort of comes with, this raw interaction with a world, but not everyone can create a world worth being in, and interacting with. You did. This was a wonderful escape into a place with people I won't forget. Thank you.

this is not a game, this is a true piece of art.
it actually brought tears to my eyes, which is not an easy thing to do

Thought provoking. Only a few games can get me to think about everything. There is symbolism and there is plot. There is color and there is depth. There are five stars and there is a favorite.

Great game (though I don't think the word 'game' suits it well enough). Has a nice story, pleasent drawings and some good precepts/ideas in it. All in one, 5/5 ; my congratulations to the creators.
Well, it is definitely a game. An adventure. I wasn't trying to make anything artsy, just a game I would have wanted to play :) In the end, that's all one can do.

When you wrote the dwarfs dialouge, my first reaction was that you were racist. Then I realized you were just awesome and humorous.

Ahoy there!
I must say, sometimes games in this style can be repetitve and lack the ability to keep the gamer interested 'till the end... But I really did enjoy this game! The story was nice, however, I mainly just loved all the little comments (Cats are awsome) and 'easter eggs' found within the game. They really made it fun for me.
Thanks for the chuckles.

Now I feel even more sad because I chose to play this game/sit in front of the computer than go out and meet people. lol?

What is up with the creepy lady, not even giving a straight answer???
The moment I saw her I knew she was suspicious...
It's not really her fault. Her understanding is very different from our own, considering what she is, so she takes for granted certain things that the main character can't yet cope with.

(wow, they allow super long comments)... All in all a nice game, especially as it is your first one. I usually don't rate/comment games at all, but how you respond to all feedbacks at your 2nd game was convincing me the most and made me wonder about your 1st. going to play the other again and leave you a super-long comment there too if you don't mind :D

I was skeptical when you said the game would take a couple hours to completeā¦and startled to realize that it actually did. This is an incredible story--a little word-heavy even for me, but still really good. I feel sorry for the squirrel (guess the "happiness potion" is a temporary solution).

I always hated and loved these philosophical games. They're almost always kinda sad, but at the same time they show you how to live life to it's fullest, or something similar... They're so simple, yet difficult to understand sometimes... Only if there were more of games like this, this world would be a little better place than it is now...
Well, this is just a game. I actually like it most when people just enjoy the experience without overthinking it. And I have to tell you a secret... shhh... The world is already a good place ;) You just need to change your perspective. People tend to think in black and white, and shades of grey. But they forget about all the other colours :D And yes, I respond to comments fast :D

I actually cried at the ending, it was very beautiful. The whole game was very convincing an mysterious. I liked it very much :) Please don'tstop makin games, i now have played both your first and second game, and they are equally as good :) I really lked the hints in this game, if you were feelingcompletely lost you could just click on it and you didn't have to Watch a Whole walkthrough video )

Okay, so I talk to the Tree of Death, and then I lose the ability to click? What the hell?
I've reloaded several times and it happens each time. I'm running Firefox on Windows, if that matters.
Hmm, this is the first time I've heard about this problem. What's weird is that there is no chapter change after the Tree, all you get is the seed in your inventory.
