A little hint: buy both machinegun and shuriken. Use machinegun at battle. When you can afford a little delay press 4 and then 3 again. It`s like using shuriken as powerful, but slow secondary weapon.

MACHINEGUN - Lv.1 - Your basic rapid-fire weapon. Lv.2 - Firerate up, possibly damage up. Lv.3 - Firerate up some more, possibly dmg, with bubbles you can pop for splash damage. Lv.4 - The bullets split into 2 bullets - The fast arrow bullets, and the "slug" bullets. There are also bubbles with arrows on them, where if you fire into them from one side, bigger bullets come out the other side. Lv.5 - Max firerate and damage. You fire 2 fast and slug bullets, along with a different arrow-bubble that follows you and can "stick to you" for a bit, before drifting off. ...Just decided to put this up to complete the weapons "compendium".

I don't see why people talking 'bout geometry wars (sucking game...).
Btw this game is pretty nice ! Good music and graphics/light effects (for those who like retro-style and stuff) but the strong point is the originality for both weapons and enemies !! Now I'd like to see some bosses, I really thought there would be one at last level :( Survival is a good bonus too. And maybe add some other features (perks, enemies of each color immuned to a correspondant weapon or so..).

This game...itlooks nice and all...but it was so easy, that it sucked. I just played every level on hard, and didnt die once. It looked so nice, and i thought it would be good...but despite all the polish, in the end, it sucks

As I progress, there comes a moment in each level when game stops accepting any input and the whole page gets really laggy.

Only four weapons... but it helps to use all of them and switch! Well designed; getting that mechanic to be useful is tricky.

PRO TIP: the game get gradually harder as the days pass so if you rush thru the game it's actually easier than replaying to upgrade and get flawless... (note: if you have cleared a round that round will not get harder over time... it will remain at the difficulty you beat it on...) so it might be a good idea to storm thru in 30 days then go back and upgrade / get flawless...

Amazing game, amazng gameplay, amazing effects, it was the best shooter of this style i ever played. please make a sequel. more weapons, more stages and more challenges.

nice game, but one you get the ups of a wepon at max its way to easy...
for stars on every level just use homing and put your self in a corner and shoot =)
on higher levels you need the boms to protect your self and watch out for the spawning places

Shouldn't the wisp (Guardian) start with more powerful weapons? I mean, it's the Guardian of Light, If the Evil (Dark) forces get through, then they will destroy the Light, and we will have to reside in darkness. That's just my opinion on the story though.

we are only missing the one about the machine gun so here it is
level 1 :inaccurate less damage than the others makes very annoying sound
level 2 shoots faster sound is more annoying
level 3 shoots even faster + blue bubbles will randomly spawn that to aoe damage when shot at uber annoying sound
level 4 shoots more projectiles and in addition to the bomb bubbles spawns boost bubbles your attack becomes a one hit KO when firing thought them most importantly sound is not annoying
level 5 same as four but stronger

I thought I wouldn't be able to get flawless on the later levels, but homing was much more powerful than I thought. I'm kind of embarassed I didn't do well because I didn't upgrade homing until I finished lancer, magnet and most of shield and speed. So I finally beat it with all stars on day 69... 69? really?
