30 is click 1 once for the first row, twice for the second and so on.
39 is what go me stuck. The solution is below, click on the X, (o) for a blank tile
XoXXoX
oXXXXo
XXXXXX
XXXXXX
oXXXXo
XoXXoX

For the nerds: many of these levels can be solved using a SAT solver (that's how I got through level 32, 33 and 39). The only level I didn't get (solved it by clicking, clicking and more mindless clicking) is level 36; could someone explain the reasoning, because it's driving me nuts...

Not one of your best, since I was able to brute force my way through a few levels without understanding what I was doing. Still, very good and very simple.

Good lord that was frustrating. But I guess the title makes sense... Anyway, underrated puzzle game, though some seemed kind of random and therefore were annoying to guess through, while others (like the + and H pattern levels) I couldn't figure out any real pattern, and only eventually got lucky. Still, kept me entertained, I'll say that I liked it. Also, why 39 levels and not 40? So much metrically nicer looking...

I like that you created this game as a project for a "Make a game that isn't your style" kind of thing, but it still feels like a Bonte game.

Interesting game that you have to strip each layer using new method on each later :). I like the challenge for each new layer :).
