I managed to lock the ball in place between the upper and lower paddles, but I am using a trackball-mouse and my hand was on it as it happened. I was holding my breath while waiting 40 bounces so as not to move my fingers.

Yeah, several levels are frustrating and quite unlike an expected Bonte games. Just remember though, everybody starts somewhere; of the 42 games he's made thus far, this was only the 5th or so. As we've seen in past years, Bonte's games have not only improved, but become among the pinnacle of these kind. :D

Hey you know Bonte Games? You know, much-beloved Bonte Games, who make laptop-friendly, low-stakes puzzle games about colorful balls and cute animals?
What if we made a new Bonte game...
but this time we make all the puzzles INCREDIBLY FRUSTRATING?

lol last level I just put my bouncer by the wall a little bit off and then moved the wall bouncer in the middle and did it over again until I got it to go from top to bottom over and over.

Jep is correct. After all of the bad things I read about 25 I was expecting a challenge. It's basic arknoid/break-out bouncing. Control the angle and it's fine. Or learn about angles if you're unfamiliar with those games (but you've played them level 6 and 21).

I love all your games, but the pong levels make this unplayable for me. I'm 62, and no longer have the dexterity of a 14-year-old, and having to restart after a single miss is very frustrating. This was hard enough on the first pong level (I would usually get about 90% of the walls eliminated before I fumbled the ball), but on the second one, I rarely get two or three panels lit up before I slip and have to restart. As another person commented, I love your puzzles, but they should be about thinking, not about how quickly and accurately you can fling your mouse.
Also, I had planned to put the game aside and try again to resume it later, when I was calmer and more willing to beat my head against the wall again, but the lack of a save feature makes this impossible. Being able to play all the levels in one sitting (as in all the ball-coloring games) makes a save feature unnecessary, but if that's not possible or practical, the lack of a save feature is a deal-breaker.

For those struggling with the rope: In chrome you need to click once on the blue before you can click on the rope again.

There's a sweet spot in level 25 where you can release the ball and just let it bounce 99 times without moving the mouse again. Much easier than trying to catch it.

If i had the time, i would quote AM`s famous speech on the word hate, but i already wasted enough of my life dealing with this game so im not gonna do that.

ok wow. some puzzles are cool and all but some of these fast reactionlevels like 22 and the pong ones are terrible and frustrating. low star rating given

The secret to 25 is to just keep it between the top and bottom boards - the more you move the board to the left or right, the more the ball will veer to the side when it bounces, so you can keep it bouncing in the middle by making slight adjustments.

Shaking the tree... Shaking the tree... Shaking the tree... HOW LONG DO I HAVE TO SHAKE THIS THING FOR?!! .. Oh. Don't try to avoid the black sides - you have to go from the middle of the black part on one side to the middle of the black part on the other side.

click, drag, drop, oh and that one level where we completely switch it up and you suddenly have to use the keyboard! GFL finding out that one!

Level 25... Randomly found the perfect spot where it bounced up and down by itself... after about 30 million attempts.

LOL. This week's Kongpanion and "Badge of the Day" week theme is keys and I lost the key for the lock at my job last week!
