Can I suggest a Multiplayer/Sandbox-mode. An area where you can create any type of insect you want and play against another army with another person/AI/yourself. [+] This if you want this to happen!

Like others said really interesting concept. Heres my 2 cents;
A normalizer mutator would be really interesting to see. instead of focusing all yours to the extreme and kinda getting stuck there, a mutator that put everything mid-ward stat wise would be great. also the controls are reaaly clunky and hard to do any kind of micromanagement. The lives section where you only get so many restarts seems kinda pointless and probably unnecessary. It penalizes a concept of lets try this, or that! and instead makes you have limited chance of experimenting. another great feature would be the ability to send multiple orders so that you can send one off somewhere on its own.

A wonderful idea for a game...Marred by horrendous controls and AI. I constantly watched my horde stand still and get attacked, go after a hex when under fire, had a pain getting troops to move to a single spot due to having to drag the cursor, and worse. In short, I found myself hoping for something that never showed up. Better luck next time...

For the people stuck on 14 (and it is the hardest in my opinion) - remember that you don't lose bees if your number of hexes decreases. Make sure you always are at your maximum number of bees. If you capture a hex and lose it a seconds later, you can still build a bee before it is lost. Similarly, if they ever have more bees than their max, kill off extras to reduce their firepower. This is very much a fight of attrition and (after the initial rush to gain hexes) you should focus on gradual gains rather than a quick win. Where you can, multiply long range bees. Split your force between the two paths and don't push too quickly. Try and get the enemy to split targets and remember they take a long time to rotate. If you find your units dying rapidly (the odd one is fine and will happen) you've over extended - pull back slightly and then start your slow push again. Good luck!

I like it, though I do wish it were possible to "lock" some of the unit types from evolving on green tiles, particularly if there's a place where it's possible to NOT step on green, but it takes such a long time to carefully walk the units past it without touching.

Played the first time, died often enough to start over. Guess what? Lifes wont reset if you press "play again". Died the first time (in the 2nd try) where in the first try my game was over, won't start all over again, just because lifes dont reset. Damn

Wait, because your strategy is broken, you downrate the game? That's seriously lame. For level 11, once you've made a 3rd bee, drive it to the armor up spot then across the purple to either of the regions with 3 cells. Capture the three cells and keep the three bees that result there. While you're doing that continue to breed and capture cells int he starting area, make a second armored bee to take the other region with 3 cells and breed a few to hold that. You won't lose any area if you keep a few bees in it, and once you have the kind of lead that that should give you, you'd have to try to lose.

You should make an auto produce so then you don't have to double click all the time and also for when you are not paying attention because they are taking forever

For those complaining about having to slowly check the insect's stats, not true. You can tell by their physical appearance. Wings: speed & agility; Shell: armor; Jaws: range & damage; Antennae; sight. Rate up so that people can see.

As others have said there needs to be a select all hotkey, controlled evolution, point and click instead of drag and drop, and new units should follow previous orders.

For guys who need to check every bee to know what they are, the bees look different depending on their abilities, here are some tips:
long wings: fast
wide wings: agile
thick carapace: hard
long jaws: ranged
thick jaws: damaging
white second wings: flyers
white things around carapace: armored
white things around jaws: piercers
I hope this will help. sight is useless anyway

I hate when the bees killed an army wich is next to them they kill only one bee and they give up...they really deserved to die because they were to dumb...no wonder why it says adapt or die,the title says it all,now i know how Hitler felt like...

If by "Strategic Evolution" you mean "mindlessly clicking anything in sight to reproduce at the highest possible rate because the control scheme is so convoluted you'll die before you have the chance to foment and implement anything resembling tactics", then you succeeded.

Random Guy "Captain is it really nescessary to send 23 bees on one person gaurding 1 hexagon" Me "OF COURSE"......haha 5/5
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
1/5 the controls are so terrible it's not even funny. I would have easily won lvl 13 if the controls didn't fail me and my bots would actually shoot at the enemy. -.-

Despite some serious flaws (controls, AI, pathing, lives etc.), this is an amazing and original game. I would love if the game would be updated to remove the flaws but even as is it's still a 5/5.

i agree sum1sbanana , with repruduction you should be able to combine and or solo the cell, make it so it puases when you reproduce ect, ect. its an exellent idea! keep on plusing that so owner and see!!

neat concept, but poor delivery. bad AI and poor control scheme make micro management very difficult at later levels. it doesn't help that the mutation spots are suicide if you stay on them too long
