Some updates I might suggest : make it so you can skip the battle without paying.. nobody wants to suffer five minutes only to see that they lost, and have the units be automatically added to your heroes because I always forget to add them and end up losing because of it.

Kongregate has changed :( Even moreso, the people of Kongregate have. Used to be about the games, not the badges. But now most people won't even play a game if it doesn't have badges to win, and they complain when the badges are "too hard". "Wahhh! I couldn't get my 30 arbitrary points without playing for a whole 4 days, this game sucks!" I understand wanting free games, but just because spending money on a game is an option doesn't make it "money-grubby", I've played many games on K where you could pretty much "buy" your badges, but i've never paid em a cent (Mostly cuz i can't afford to :P Some were actually worth supporting if i could). Please people. If you can't enjoy a game for what it is, go to another game. If badges are your ONLY reason for Kongregating, try another site... -.-

I keep finding my self selling items i don't need for my heroes, but the sold items keep staying in my inventory (for a whole week now) and i can't equip them nor can i sell them again. And they still take space in my inventory...

@Drakkose/Oct. 02 - I remember when Kong folks told us a game had to have an average rating over 4.x to get badges, but this game's been ~3.5 every time I skimmed past it, yet it got front-paged and badges....

I've been on Kongregate since it was created, and i've never seen Jim post such a pathetic response. Kongregate is no longer the site it once was, it and its owners are nothing more than money hungry greedy bastards. Countless, COUNTLESS MEMBERS have distressed over these MMOs getting badges, and the only response we get is "If you don't like it, don't play it". Way to give the middle finger to 99% of your freaking player base ass whole. I keep finding myself going to Newgrounds more and more often now. -_- Jim is pathetic.

I don't see a problem with this game at all. I think it's rather fun. You don't HAVE to pay for the content. And you don't HAVE to play it at all. All the badges you can get without paying a cent. It's a nice, fun MMO. Go play something else and stop giving it bad comments if you don't like it.

To JimGreer: Yes, you put badges on 5-10 times the number of singleplayer games, but these MMO's take longer than countless singleplayer games put together, and they rely on monetizing features that should just be available for free in the first place. I understand that they're profitable, but they seriously put a kink in what's otherwise a fantastic, enjoyable lineup of badged games. "Just don't play it" is not satisfying to those who enjoy maintaining complete badgelists. Most games typically rely on a fair balance of persistence and skill, but now it's becoming harder and harder to maintain full completion unless you pay money to turn an artificially-inflated game into a playable one.

I don't see why you all are complaining.. so what if you can pay for in-game items? You don't NEED to buy them to be able to play.. I'm level 21 and still going and it's fun for me and I haven't bought anything at all.

This is crap! I tried loading the game 5 times. I finally give up and as the page is changing, the game actually loads. Now I'm trying again and it won't. I love this game but can only play it on an EXTREMELY fast connection.

Actually..after giving this a chance its a pretty fun game with a nice "single player campaign". I hate how people jump on in and hate it just because its an mmo with pay features...that you don't even need to buy to progress. Though the grammar is a bit...grating..

it's buggy as hell. I'm not speaking of grammar errors and typos, I'm speaking about general bugginess.
1. See what do you miss for some transmutation, go buy at ally shop needed ingredients, back to transmuter = error, have to relog
2. Items you sell from inventory won't go, need to relog to actually see what's in your pockets.
3. If you relog during dungeon - after that you can't recruit some troops and assign them, window will auto-close after recruiting
4. You send troops to war, 90 sec lockout, worry not. Just click on some item in chat and you're bailed from lockout...
And crashes! Crashing too often...

And another "Free"2Play MMO which gets an instant 1/5 from me. Since I read the Top comments, I won't even bother to play it. The system works.

Not often you come across these kinds of MMO where as much thought has been equally given to gameplay, graphics, content and community. Personally speaking (at running the risk of getting a serious dose of flamage) i thoroughly enjoyed , and am still enjoying this one. This is the first and only game on Kong i have gone way beyond badges.
Nice job guys. If there is only 1 thing i would say - having to use your gold or coupons to skip a battle scene is a little over the top. 4.8/5

let me restate joppelarius's problem with these games getting badges. Single player games get badges when the community decides that they are good and by and large single player games with badges are fun. The MMOs on the other hand pay for badges and are generally crap, while there are a few really good multi-player games on kong (transformice comes to mind) they are not the ones that get achievements. If they were, no one here would have a problem with it.

this game was a lot of fun but after a while it is so lame because you cant get anywhere its like i am still at level 24 and i cant bet this monster oh and look at that it will only take a week to get to level 30 huh. its just boring at first it was fun because you slowly move on now there no anything to do but battle witch to gets boring and sitting at the sole alter

This game was somewhat fun through level 20ish. I stopped at level23 after getting bored. Its not a bad little MMO. I would barely call it that though because it is almost totally solo except for when you attack others, but there is no real fight 95% of the time since they have no defense.
