Attack the freaking mother ships, ATTACK the freaking motherships, ATTACK THE FREAKING MOTHERSHIPS!!!
No but seriously, I agree with others here, you really need a targeting system of some kind.

Most of the missions are close to impossible no matter how much or how fast you build. Mostly they are a matter of figuring out the one exact perfect configuration of thousands of possibilities. Guess and check over and over again. Still, it's pretty fun for a while 3/5

you should be able to choose which enemies to fire at, i hate having my THELs shoot the swarmers instead of the motherships

Here I am, watching with a bored expression as enemy ships try and destroy my base. None of them get even close. I figure, 'hey, why not read the comments to pass the time?' *reads the top comments* *comes back to see defeat*
O.O

Personally, I always upgrade my miners, but never my turrets. Yes, I know, upgrading miners is a tad less inefficient than buying more, but there is one very important reason I upgrade them. Each relay can only hold four other connections (besides the one it's connected to), or five if it's the ending relay. That is precious, precious room that I can't spend on tons of miners. By upgrading them, I can get more out of the asteroids without spamming the space around it. It's kinda annoying to have a gigantic contraption of miners only have some pirates blow it up. -.-*
I don't upgrade lazers because I am constantly buying and selling them to put them in new places. If you don't upgrade them, there is no penalty to sell. =)

I like how the difficulty of this game stems from it's own crappy flaws.. You have you built your base in a way where the failed-targeting system of your own turrets destroy the PROPER enemy at the right time.. 2/5

Pelaaja, the purpose of upgrading is to reduce the energy strain. Upgrading miners is usually necessary for efficiency, cause you would need an extra power station for every few extra miners. And you have to account for the overall load it puts on the energy system, e.g. when there's a big wave of ships and you need power for defense.

I just wonder who on earth would EVER upgrade lasers to neither THLs nor pulses. BASIC LASER DOES OVER 3x AS MUCH DMG AS A FULLY-UPGRADED PULSE LASER. Seriously, who would EVER, EVER do that. I don't understand.
And also, miners are more effective when not upgraded. Compare yourself.
Eg. 3x basic miner = cost 135m / 240 mpm
and one upgraded one = cost 145 / 200 mpm
So, upgrading the miners is rarely worth it.

Needs upgrades so if you lose you haven't wasted your time. Also you should be able to focus an enemy unit, or at least have some sort of setting for each weapon so you can setup your powerful weapons to target mothership instead of weak projectiles.

Unfortunately this game no longer works. Accepting cookies from casualcollective.com does not solve the loader problem.

Setup has failed: Loader Bypassed....ffs would like to try it. It seems both versions have the same issue for me...:/

Why does it take so long for the miners to finish mining? it took me three hours to complete mission 1 due to the slow miner work. I upgraded each of them several times!

If anyone else is having the loading problem, just start the game on Internet Explorer. Usually Mozilla Firefox, and sometimes Google Chrome, doesn't work with these types of games.
