This is a truely amazing game, that has brought me hours of fun. If there is a Space Game 2 coming out, i'm totally looking forward to it.
I also have some ideas for making the game even better, such as targeting - compare with gem craft, other game modes, such as multiplayer or attack/pirate mode and new enemies, like transport ships who disable your buildings with rockets and then steal/raid it for the minerals.

Agree on the "targeting" note; nothing sadder than losing because my THELs were focused on grey ships while there were motherships on screen.

So... you can beat the first 5 levels without fighting. im working on the 6th now. on survival you can just keep making energy relays straight up, they wont be able to keep up and you can just build a solar station every 10-20
on the other ones you can just mine faster than they can kill you.

For all those who are having trouble loading the game, make sure you're not blocking cookies from third parties.
For Safari, click on Safari --> Preferences --> Privacy and make sure the bubble that blocks cookies from third parties isn't ticked.

I've figured out the pirate motives! There not really pirates. Says on the levels that they are close or inside enemy space. Therefore this is territory dispute. They're pissed because were mining all their asteroids.
Press the + so people can know the answers to those questions above.

49 middle solar stations, 20 basic repair stations, 16 best pulsars and 4 best THELs. That's enough to complete the last mission on Crazy and still have some spare minerals. No building lost.

It would be cool if throughout the game you would gain upgrades like additional supplies or special abilities that you gain by playing the game.

It's REALLY annoying when you see your Missile Launchers and your THELs attacking the mother-ships drones instead of the mother-ship itself...

I didn't touch anything I'm still getting "Setup has failed; loader bypassed." It's disappointing how many of the games in the "best of 200x" series are broken.

One of the best games ever made, very challenging and fun. Just earned the Impossible badge :) Once you understand how all components work, applying that with logic, with an understanding of each mission the game becomes easier and before you know it you will see all red! 5*'s from me, props to the game maker. Recommend!

What was the achievement guy thinking putting shit that hard into a set...normal is near impossible mode on many levels -.- who even designs a game that stupidly hard??

Is there any kind of walkthrough? Cause I have not the slightest idea how I could beat the levels on medium, and this is the last badge I need for the 2009 quest. And ... this really stopped making fun.

Those who can't get it to run, or has the loader bypassed error, you need enable script or unblock the game's server. Or something along those lines, sorry, been too long since I did it :D

Everytime i play a mission, i would be thinking... 'Will the pirate ships come from this side first? or this side? I better start building to the east...' *pirate ships come from west side* 'Ohh man, i shoulda spread my defenses...' *stares at 10 pulsers to the east of base*

Setup has tailed bugfix : Youre either using a script blocker or blocking cookies. Allowing cookies from twitter/facebook and reloading should work, or turning off your script blocker.

@ booyah: try using slow motion the whole way, and use relays sparingly. spam basic lasers, plus one or two missiles to deal with motherships and swarms.

I always had a hard time playing this game... I stopped at 13 normal missions. Now i am back and now i have to do everything over again and I forgot how I won so now i'm too lazy to redo everything... =((

arg... finally do good in a mission and this game crashes... Also why is the screen so small, I can easily fit 9 of those small screens in my 2560x1440 res... Even if I zoom in with my browser the screens stays very small.

You have to wonder about the solidity of this business plan. You spend likely trillons of dollars funding this expedition into deep space, then when you get there you use everything you mine so that you can build defenses to hold off waves of pirates so that you can mine more to build more and hold off more waves. You essentially accomplish nothing.
