ok so don't make like 58 toxins at once because viruses will eat your soul every time you get a certain # of toxins viruses come

I find it somewhat disapointing that I could not undergo cell replication (mitosis) and produce a small cluster of cells, just one step closer to a multicellular organism. but it was a fantstic game, been playing it for hours now and only up to lvl 7. :) 5/5 from me.

The cut scenes are funny, the game is interesting and educational, and more then once i was so tested i began screaming: "MY ONLY SIN WAS BELIEVING IN SIENECE!.... AND NOT LEARNING TO SPELL!"

The problem with greg is that he didn't inject peroxisomes. thanks for experimenting that for me greg! *Injects chloropaths and peroxisomes* Ok i have my life's worth of needles with peroxisomes and i will have 3 on me at all times. i should be safe 8)

It's too bad they had to go talk to Intelligent Design promoters (see the advisors in the credits) in order to get this game made. As far as cell biology goes, it's pretty accurate, but there are some misleading ideas about how a cell (or any other organism) can adapt to its environment included here.

We just learned this stuff in Bio. This game works as a supplement to classes. I tried playing it before, and it made no sense. Now it does. 5/5 for being the best online study game ever!

I remember how we had genetics in school. Back then, I imagined the cell processes as game actions in a mix of StarCraft and Command&Conquer. That helped a lot, but it was far away from being an accurate analogy, especially when it comes to resources. I jokingly wished someone would design a game that followed the logic of a cell, but I didn't really expect anyone to have the same nerdy thoughts, let alone realizing them. So, what can I say now? Thanks for putting me wrong! Also, the game has the most awesome ending credits I've ever seen ;)

@EvilSuitsMe, comment "was an awesome game until lvl 8 when you get spammed with 30 of each virus multiple times." Not true. I failed the level once when I spammed the toxins from the start. What you do is turn off your mitocondrions so it doesn't eat up your glucose, then build up your defenses, while searching for glucose. Max out the Slicers, get 12-ish yellow thingies, and some defendids. Only turn on one mitochondrion when you're under 300-500 atp. After you get 25 yellow thingies and max defenses, start alternating toxins with defendids/membrane expansion. At this point, you should be able to enable both mitochondrions. You get extra waves of enemies (aside from the timed ones) at 25% toxins, 50%, 75%, and I THINK 95%. With a full complement of defenses (50 slicers, 50% defense, 25 yellow thingies), you won't get infected, nor will they do any damage to anything aside from the membrane.

beautiful music, learn about this in grade 11 bio, wonderful for others to learn in a fun interactive way. creative, entertaining, and well worth my time, easily the best educational game around
+ if u agree

Believe it or not, I found the levels after you leave the planet too hard. You just don't have enough time to prepare; for example: too little mitochondria and you run out of ATP; too many and you run out of FA. I might be missing something, or just plain be bad at this game, but just thought it was worth saying. The educational part I found nice, but a bit lacking. Then again, a little more and people would complain...

this is everything i learned in biology... but i failed biology.. yet i understand it all after this game... i vote this game be required for all biology classes!!!

Most of the scientific material is accurate, which is surprising for a flash game.
Would've liked more difficulty/not just making a bunch of stuff and auto-win.
Last levels was beaten by getting enough resources to make 50 Toxins at once, and just mass producing. No defenses.
5/5 :D

Once I was halfway through level 8, I couldn't produce toxins or anything else, besides slicers. After this happened the first time, I tried restarting, but the same thing happened on my second playthrough.

To everyone having trouble with the "produce fatty acids" objective:
After you collect 10 fatty acids, the objective window should say "Objective: complete!" and show a shiny gold button. Click this for your next objective. If there is no "click to continue" button then send me a PM and describe what's happening.
