great game! i really want more and wait eagerly for the new expansion. if you continue the storyline though the endings will have to make a difference in the whole storyline. if it has a huge impact then you'll have to make 2 seperate storylines or make just a few differences depending on which ending they took in a single storyline.

@FemmeFatale: You can go back even with the lava pool in your way, it just takes a bit of luck. Don't glide or you'll fail - use a double-jump to get past the red field and then immediately start gliding once you're past it and you'll make it into the green upstream field.

There is a problem with the game. If you missed the 4th gem, the black one, you can't go back to get it. This is because in the purpose level, right around where the lava is, is a gravity field down. You cannot get past this, so if you go through that one part, you are screwed.

Ummm...Olley don't you know that when you jump you still glow? When you glide THEN it stops glowing. When you jump you reflect the bombs in mid-air making the boss go down. Then you hit it some times with the spikes and then he again goes up. You do it some times and the boss is destroyed.

The second boss is completely shit. He throws boms on the right side (independent if you stand there or not) which explode and you run in and lose life. since you have to deflect the bombs to him but alway deflect in an angle to the right side (no matter how you hit the ball). The bombs he throws on the right side never can be reflected to him. It is a fun killer of an otherwise good game. thus 1/5

This really needs an easy mode -- I get killed by those first two inchworms far more times than I want to admit and getting past the next couple... Leave it to say I can't manage a single memory and you need 5 for the easy badge. Then again I can't manage to get any badges in any of the fancy pants games either which makes practically all of the quest things impossible for me.

not sure if others have already commented about this, but the game was extremely laggy on chrome -- to the point of being unplayable, but was much better when I switched to firefox

AAAA THIS IS PART OF THE KONGPANIONS. When people ask me what my favorite game is, this one is at the absolute top of my rather short list [I'm very picky]. I'm going to have to beat this whole game again just because I adore it so much. PLEASE TELL ME THE EXPANSION COMES SOON; I DON'T THINK I CAN MAKE IT

The shooting control is so annoying.
Why not have the regular C throw in a straight line, and pressing up making it go in an arc? This way it currently is is annoying

Rule #1 of the second boss seems to be: if you miss one line of bombs, give up and try again, because the bullets will kill you anyway.

This game is excellent. I thoroughly enjoyed it. It's not quite up there with Cave Story in my list of top retro platformers, but it's really close. You did something new here and it worked wonderfully.

I like how this game actually has nothing to do with Kalevala. I mean the finnish National Epic. And also, nice secret room you have there.

A human mindstate and Kurriri copies get trapped for the rest of eternity in the upload heaven of a race of jerks who didn't even try to reconcile with their creations, preferring for them to self-destruct, to murder each other. And the only human on the planet is trapped too, doomed to die either from his wounds, the cold, the local fauna or the fact that his food and oxygen supplies are going to be limited, nevermind other basic niceties and such. The "Good" Ending, ladies and getlement. >:[

Only achieved the good ending. :D Anyways, good music. I wonder what it'd feel like if you put this in a Mega Man game. :P
