Another good innovation would be to have the invitation window replace the board while game not in progress and limit the number of challenges an individual can send out at any given time so they cannot flood you.

You should have a way to report abuse. This guy I beat cursed me out and set game to an hour length and let the clock run. To mitigate this, you should set a time parameter you will or will not agree to and have more opponents visible in your challenge window so that when you are spammed with challengers you do not pick the wrong one.

Dread I assume you had a pawn on e5 or g5 when he played f5 (from f7 and not f6, which can't be done in that case). So you definately should have had the en passant option. I've never had a problem with en passant - yet. There definately are glitches here; I've seen my opponent's king disappear then replaced a move later by his queen!

(Kurab) Yes pretty wild game but black's most obvious blunder was his 12...Kg6??. Instead, had he played 12...Rxd8 he would have been a piece up and his bishop on h5 was still threatening to capture your rook on d1. By the way, those who claim en passant rule is not recognized here is mistaken. I've used it on a few occasions.

En passant not supported! Way to go! 1/5
I've had no problem using en passant...perhaps you used it wrong

There are very strange bugs indeed. I had 9 minutes and 1 second on the clock, the next second it suddenly was 0: 0.
Despite offering the possibility to play chess against real opponents, the bugs ruin the entire game.
Hence. only 1/5

I wouldn't mind a feature that let's us check the moves of the game and possibly record them. They also should fix the whole, server connection lost thing; it's annoying when your rating goes from like 1340 to 1200.
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
That was strange. I made my opening move 1 e4 and my opponent's queen disappeared. The sound indicated he made a move but it showed none. So I played 2 d4 and his king disappeared only to be replaced by his queen...we agreed to a draw.

good game besides the quitters who dont quit, they wait & wait to see if you quit, Hughster127 ur right its annoying looking for someone who isnt playing in that list.

I don't understand this game, I was checked and I lost. I wasn't in check mate. I had a lot more moves I could have used.
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
Some weird bugs on the site. Once I was about to checkmate someone, and then somehow he took control of my queen and a rook of mine disappeared. Really odd.
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
Why does the list contain people who are already playing? The only people on the list should be people who are not playing that way you aren't scrolling through countless names just to find someone who is available.

This site if full of jerks that will abourt out of a losing game to leave the other person sitting for 5 minutes plus to get their win. Gutless wnders one and all.
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
This site really sux. My opponent's clock says 0:00 and I'm up a queen and the server connection is lost and I lose?!? Happens quite often here.

the worst part here is these guys who can't play worth a darn and have fast pc's/connections and set up 1-minute games so they can win on time. They have no skill whatsoever and keep sending invites over and over until they trick someone into playing who were trying to play a 10-min game. ph51hg's suggestion would eliminate this...
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
piece selection is a bit iffy and seeing the games being invited is difficult (have to keep scrolling). Would be nice to have an invite grid so anyone can select a game rather than challenging individuals. Rating limits to invites would also be nice (also for time controls)

its kind of funny how everybody gets so angry. i mean seriously, if you were a hardcore gamer you'd be using a real gaming system. so lay off the roids and cool down

DogKnight, I too have a rating in singapore. It is 1986 and I also have a International Chess Rating which is 1583. And by the way, do you want to join a chess club? I have one for you to join. Its ChessCube (just search it using google) and sign up. my account is "imaretard".

I just had a "connection failed" so I came down to the comments here to see if anyone else is having that problem or if it's just me.
I have now spent the last 15 minutes reading the 12DogKnight vs. the rest of the world thread here and I have to admit, I haven't laughed so hard in quite awhile.
All I can really add is: how many people have to inform a certain someone that they're a flaming bag of dog biscuits before it starts to sink in and they reevaluate their social skills...
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
12DogKnight is getting stressy over the fact that some-one said that he wasn't a pro at chess. Not only that, but towards the end of his reply, it seems his insults, are somewhat flat and dull. My suggestion is stop playing chess.

Geradi, YOU'RE the one who was so concerned about my rating and comments. I couldn't care less if you're "impressed". You're a nobody so who cares what you think? I'm not a "Pro" either and I too make mistakes- not just in the opening but the middle and endgame as well. Heck I just lost to a bankrank mate with rook in a completely won game. No big deal. Humans make mistakes. So get over me, get a life, and find someone else to stalk you pathetic loser.
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
Yeah, I found this little chess game last Sunday, 2 months Kong doesn’t mean I have played everything. You couldn't tell me anything impressive either, been there done that would be the right answer I guess. An experienced player wouldn't bother to tell everyone how many wins he had. As I said, the players here aren’t Pros, you can see that most of them make mistakes in the beginning. So please, spare me your arrogance.
