Under rating threshold (show) I got bored after losing a couple battles, mainly cause I have no patience to watch all the animated battle scenes, I wish there was an option to remove them to speed things along cause then I might have an interest in going through with the game cause right now some battles just take forever when the time could probably be cut in half if the animations were removed, sure it wouldn't be as much happening on the screen but at least it would speed things along enough to keep me interested as the animations get boring after seeing them so many times.

Under rating threshold (show) I consider this game to have some great potential, but there are several issues. Im sure that many if not all the issues I mention have already been mentioned. The grid size is simply too small. There has to be ways to increase it once they start getting larger amounts of shields, and shield types that change. Sure if your attack is strong enough (or enough of them) you can reduce the shield. Damage does not carry over to the next shield, or worse, if you drop someone easily, extra tiles dont carry to the next enemy. We need to be able to string combos easier. In the shopping screen I found that the info panel keeps jumping on me. Some menu options in battle are needed. More information about things would be helpful. It can be hard if not impossible to select enemies, only their image is delectable and it moves on you!

Under rating threshold (show) @Objection HP-boosting items do actually give the bonus in game. The store UI doesn't take that into account though.

Under rating threshold (show) Replaying this, I enjoyed it and wondered why I'd given it two stars the first time around. Then I hit the last couple of chapters and remembered just how horrible the combat becomes as the enemies get more shields but your board stays exactly the same size.

Under rating threshold (show) Great game but its starts to slow down closer to the end almost freezing. It does need a tutorial, but has a good learning curve. The grid should be at least a 4x4 with the amount of luck you have to have to create combos. Otherwise great game.

Under rating threshold (show) I absolutely second the advice to add a larger grid--especially with the game's difficulty curve. There's a graphical error, too; something overlaps with the boots slot, so it's hard to hover over (it keeps flickering) and therefore hard to remove an old boots for a new one.

Under rating threshold (show) Hint: save your trophies for last battles(last chapter and chapter before that). Spend them on double power and get 33+ attacks combined gear by the last chapter. With setup like this, you will be smashing through enemy shields with ease, only combo length will matter.

Under rating threshold (show) Even gambler class and the free reroll does not save me from grid full of defense items and no chains while enemies are all shielded by ONE element. Wish there was a way to quickly restart.

Under rating threshold (show) I played with the gambler ;) and didnt have to grind that much. I spent talentpoints mostly on his 1st ability and a bit on 3rd. Also bought dices and powerups with trophy points. Also spending most skillpoints on hp and evening out the attack strengths with the rest. Taking out the first enemy asap is key in the tough battles. gl

Under rating threshold (show) "Collect every gold trophy under 3 different save slots." I finished the game and now I can't replay past levels. Since the game's probably not going to be updated anymore, make sure you get all trophies before finishing the 8th chapter if you're aiming for this achievement.

Under rating threshold (show) Actually, it's not so much grindy as repetitive. And while the cheesy overblown dialogue was amusing at first, I started to realize it actually took itself seriously. Without interesting breaks in the repetitive and luck-driven combats, my enthusiasm quickly waned. Nonetheless, the interest generated by the unique combat system is sufficient that'll probably finish it anyway.

Under rating threshold (show) I'm not complaining about a small grid, but when the tech power number just keeps getting bigger, and filling the screen, the game disables the top row of your grid. leaving you with a 2x4 grid and some powers you can't use anymore.

Under rating threshold (show) for more strategy, you can choose left to right ability on first time you choosing it. On left, you focus on power(changing all defense&heal items into power items, you van breaking the enemy's shield using some other combo items you have on grid, and destroy all adjected barrier*if the enemy has more than one color, it will break the shield from last color to first of same color on sacrifice one tile and some tech). On middle ability, you have the refresh ability(randomize the position of the tiles, randomize but giving one power up on cost some tech, and skill to change a tile to another tile as you wish*power up excluded), and the right ability, you have swap ability(you can swap one tile to another tile as you wish, swap a tile to a power up tile on cost some tech, and convert all tiles on same color of combined tile to a color you wish to) I prefer you to choose swaping ability to gain more combo and easier to breaking the shield*also mind of your stats too :3
