Scavenger: Sir, I found a huge crate of water with ten water bottles in it, it should last us some time. Leader: That's great, dump it all into the water cooler that we store our water in. Scavenger: But the water storage is full, sir! Leader: Oh well, I just suppose we just have to throw those water bottles away. Scavenger: But sir, instead of dumping everything into the water cooler and wasting the water that we risked our lives looking for, can't we just keep the crate with the water bottles to directly drink from? Leader: Hmmmmmm.....No.

Add option to remove a specific survivor from a task. Add control option for mission, like defending someone else, Select all...

Just an idea. For clearing the heaps of stuff from your compound, it seems to me that it would make more sense to be slowly getting resources from it as you clear it, instead of a lump sum at the end. That would also help people who can't store the whole lump sum to be able to use the heaps more efficiently.

I was in chat and lordsparkikus suggested using bike parts to build bike to save fuel on return times. just thought this was a random stroke of genius

The ability command and control multiple units at one time would be extremely beneficial and perhaps and extra gear slot for each survivor just seems to limiting especially when I've got so much of it and only 10 folks to use it on. Also the A.I. seems lacking at times, I'll give my survivor a new destination and if he/she is impeded by zombies they will continually walk while being attacked without defending themselves or finding an alternative route. The game overall is awesome though, can't wait to see the finished product hope my input makes a difference. Good Luck guys

Fun game. I love how when the zombies attack the compound you can say wait, I need more time! Somehow they understand and wait for you to pick up weapons and gear, rearrange structures, and set traps... these zombies are so considerate!

Survivor- Sir, food stocks are low, if you help, I'll give you fuel
Leader- You had fuel this WHOLE TIME?????!!! Does his also have to do with the fact you eat 8 food a DAY? and why are you not harvesting the crops when I'm away?
Survivor- Sorry sir...

"Hey guys, I see you got just enough food for three days and you guys had your first happiness point since the start of the game. I'm going to join you and you can't say no!"

I wish there were more survivor animations around the compound, like sleeping on the beds, eating, cleaning....even showering!!! :D
hehehe, great game nevertheless!!! 5/5

Me: "It's so annoying that in a larger maps, i can't easily find those containers, sometimes, i missed one or more of them" , What if Con makes scavenger ability which detects the containers.
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
CON - can you please make it so the 'special' infected are easier to find logically? So if I need to find police infected, I go to the police station or security building? If I need military I go to the street hospitals/staging posts etc.?

Another cool feature would be if u could get 1 survivor to follow another(meaning if u have a scavenger and a fighter and the scavenger goes somewhere the fighter will follow the scavenger!)

I love the game. Unfortunately many other games like this require people to pay to get more fuel. You added it to the looting system, making it a challenge, but not impossible to obtain more fuel. Well done. 5/5
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
they should add "clothing shop's" mission raid's so we could get more clothes (just for the look's) and agreed crafting should be fuel less maybe just cost more resources

Great game but please, oh please, fix the crash issue. Raid a building, get my gear, then make it back to camp only to have game crash, i lose my gear and the place I raided is locked??..Cant go back til next day.

Hey ! Would be able to leave a note on other survivor's compound main door. It's very difficult to contact neighbour and it makes the building of alliances quiet sketchy i think. Come on ! It must remain some Post It in Union City !

Please consider adding a sort button for gear and equipment. Maybe a sort by level, type of weapon(blunt vs shotgun vs rifle vs etc.) and alphabetical (maybe).

Most metal game I've ever played. Recycle a bike to get components. Recycle said components to get metal. Recycle the extra products from said components to get even more metal. Also, the majority of components yield metal. One final thing: There's more than enough guitars to thump every zombie crowd, never mind the broken speakers.

other people have made suggestions as well but why not a few different higher level buildings, such as an automated gun for security, animal fartming for food fertilizer from lavatories for increased food production, a desalination or solar still for water. also why not include moral type buildings like a bar for increased morale where survivors can drink together or a movie projector or library for entertainment. Some resources like batteries become useless later on, why not have electric fences for security and be able to scavenge solar panels for power

It would be pretty cool if when you went out in the field you had more interactive enviorments? Like, there could be a watchtower in the street, and you could have somebody in it. Or you could take cover behind the barricades that are at random spots in the field. We could also have bandits, enemy NPCs with weapons. You could loot their body's for weapons when they have been killed.

Really amazing concept and execution of most game elements, but the game does have one major thing that's holding it back: With increasing return and build times it turns into more of an Idle-waiting-game later on. Would be very nice to have heavily decreased scavenging run return times, the 24hour reset for buildings is alright and can stay in place, but the really long return times make it impossible to actively play the game later on

If ConArtists made a fully functional game for platforms like Console or enough to be on Steam. The Last Stand would probabily be winning awards.

Once you get up to lv5 or so you then realise how much obesity there was in union city before the pandemic went down lol. It's like a 2/5 chance for a "fat" zombie to spawn and try and attack your base (they were probably the first to be infected)!
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
Oh, you want to wear glasses? Better take those shoes off. You can't wear glasses if you have shoes on. That would be ridiculous.

The bounties can be hard to do especially when the three places that I need to kill zombies are Brookville north, east, and west. With three hour return times, it is very difficult to kill all of the required zombies in the allotted time.

The fuel prices in this game are almost laughable. 1000 fuel for a green gun that I was able to find while scavenging? 500 for a book that lasts only a week? Perhaps if Con read the first chapter of an economics book they'd know that the best way to increase demand is to decrease price, especially when the prices are outrageous.

I think people may need an attack history so that they can keep track of who attacked and when. The heads up display doesn't help that much if you click retaliate and somehow dont end up at their compound. You might not be able to find the guy at the moment for numerous reasons and a result, can't "counter".

Your survivor wasn't standing directly infront of the door. He's injured now. There were no zombies. He just hunched over and broke every bone in his body. But don't worry. Just give him some gasoline and he'll be fine.

How about we could use the bicycle parts to build a bicycle which you could use to REDUCE mission times without paying any fuel for it?
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
When crafting we should be able to put to craft X amount o something like when crafting bandages, say we can type in 15 bandages, instead of clicking twice 15 times. If we post something in our alliance activity, we should be able to edit it, but only the person who published it. In alliances, we should also be able to use the resources/weapons/gear that we donate for the tasks. Also it would be nice to have a increased Fuel find chance for those of us that don't want to spend too much money on this game.
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
It would be great if there was an editing mode in this where you can put everything in a bottomless "backpack" and re-arrange everything, especially since now that I can build large barricades it's annoying having to place it down somewhere else when something else is in the way. and it'd make it easier to better place fortifications.

I wish there was more logic to the inventory.
I love that the books are sorted by type, but here is what I would suggest for weapons, gear, components junk.
Weapons & gear are sorted by level & then alphabetically - that is great. The 1 thing I would suggest is that the qualifiers for the items don't effect the alphabetizing - for instance can't we put all of the lvl 20 chainsaws next to each other & just sort them by chainsaw, quality chainsaw, extended chainsaw (& so on) at that point? The same is true for gear.
I can't find the logic in how components are arranged. I would love if it were organized by material type. This would put all wood based items together, all cloth stuff togeher, and metal together. Secondary organization could be alphabetical. This would make 2 things easier. 1. know what was needed for crafting & 2. recycle material. Junk could be done the same way.

The Further you get, the longer it seems to take and the less to do but I think it ain't that bad. It keeps you from getting too invested and can make you pay attention to other things, maybe even micro managing your compound and loot or just chatting in game while talking your time to enjoy each others company...At least for me its like that from another perspective. Though, some issues like when it crashes I really wish should be fixed but no game is truly perfect, am just glad that the game is still running and hopefully it will still be running even after 2020--for me this is one of the most memorable games from my childhood or youthful days.

It's funny how police station seems to not contain any zombie police. What, are they all looking for donuts in supermarkets?

Someone commented about engineers reducing upgrade times. An idea on how that might work:
Give the ability to place one survivor (engineer or PC only) on a build or upgrade project. Their engineering skill is used to provide a percentage increase to the speed of the project. It can be a small increase, maybe 1/2% or 1/4% (based on balancing) per skill point. Possibly affecting junk removal as well. This way the engineer would be useful, without being OP.
