A small request: when you put little numbers in the bottom corner of the square, if you put more than one number, it automatically rearranges them in ascending order. Could there be an option to turn this feature off? I like to put the numbers in different orders to correspond with values in other boxes (ex. in a multiplying section for 2, I know that the box will be either a 1 or a 2, so in the first box I mark (1,2) in the little corner, and in the other box I mark (2,1), giving me a visual indicator that if one box is 2, the other must be 1). It's not hugely necessary for that specific example, but the values can web out from that, and it gets confusing to keep it all straight. Thanks!

The 2 comments i see below say "too easy" with down votes and "So hard" with down votes. That says alot to me ;p ..... Anyway I found levels 1 & 2 fairly easy. Level 3 was a little hard, it took me 13min just on the 1st puzzle. Good puzzle game, maybe better if we could zoom in or the game was a little bigger? And +1 to the top comments, I agree ;p

Super hard on my screen to tell the difference between addition and division when the symbols are so small. Having to infer which is which was an extra little challenge on some of those later puzzles.

@perfumefart. You will still need the additions at some point. Life was just easier for you, and if you don't want the cheat, then don't use it. Scumbag.

I totally agree with CrystalShadow. Using this hintbox you can solve every puzzle as mindlessly as easy sudoku without even thinking what's going on and what operations you're doing.

@David The game doesn't check to see if you have a definite answer. It checks to see if all lines have 1 of each number etc. And if you do then you win.

I think an option to turn off the hint box at the bottom would be nice. It's kind of difficult to avoid looking at it, but I think it would be more fun and more challenging to have the option to have to think about possible solutions yourself and actually do the math than to just look at the box for possible combinations.

The 4x4 and 5x5 multiplication puzzles are too easy because there's only one way of making each possible target: 2=1x2 3=1x3 4=1x4 (2x2 not possible) 5=1x5 6=2x3 8=2x4 10=2x5 12=3x4 20=4x5. The addition puzzles are more interesting because, e.g., 5=1+4=2+3 so there's more than one possibility.

First level. This seems pretty easy. Yeah I can do this.
Second level. Wow this is getting challanging. But I must still try.
Third Level. WTF? This no longer makes much sense!?
lol

So this game is amazing. I had never understood the concept, and this made it easy to learn and I love the puzzles. Only things I would have liked to see are a "next puzzle" button (someone already suggested it, I know) or at least an easier way to move between puzzles instead of going back to the menu each time.

@vmills: Only on their main site do the puzzles have the option to remove the arithmetic possibilities. BUT if you use firebug and find your way across the site's code to the flash object, you can manually set the height to 340 and crop them out. Of course you'd have to reset it for the level select screen...

Your routine for checking if the inserted numbers are correct is just comparing to the solution instead of checking the integrity of the inserted numbers. This makes it possible to solve any puzzle simply with try and error.
Beside this point its a nice game, although the puzzles could be a bit harder.

I enjoyed this game. Like the other games these guys create. Enjoyed but I agree they really dont need to show the solution if you already got it done. Whats the purpose of that, its not any picture or anything. Also if you know how to do Sukdoku (?) that will come in handy here. A little music would be nice but overall nice game!!!

The fact that it displays all the arithmetic for you makes it a bit easier than it otherwise would be - I personally would prefer a greater challenge.

Wow. You can simply look at the solution, then write it down, then click restart and fill it in your self to complete it. Bit of a badge loophole there.
Still, I did it normally because I find these so fun.

Ive played KenKen on my mobile phone and completed half of the genius pack of puzzles. It was long time ago, but your puzzles are still easy for me.

Awesome game ^^
Some background music would be a nice addition, by the way. Just a hint for the next game - which I'm definitely looking forward to! ;)

The little help box at the bottom of possible numbers to fill in is nice for some but I would prefer it not to be there. Make it optional please?

Awesome game, needs a 'chievo for level 3. Just a minor niggle, it would be better if trial numbers could appear larger but in a different colour or shade, it kind of throws off your rhythm if you have stare at the smaller numbers, in the end I just threw in the numbers keeping track of my certain numbers.

I wish there was an option to turn off the "hints" at the bottom. Leave it to the player to figure out that 3=2+1 and 5=4+1 or 3+2. Takes a lot of the challenge out of the game, actually it removes (imho) 80% of the calc and turns it into almost a plain old sudoku. Such a shame.

stop1it - I agree that the puzzles are too easy, but any logic/math puzzle can be solved with time. You can enter the numbers into the box just by hovering over it with your mouse and typing the number. You don't even have to click...

I love how people are suggesting all these nice things when they won't change a damn thing because they finished everything they needed and it's just an advertisement for their Conceptis Puzzles. Still a good game, 4/5

Puzzles are too easy, just a matter of time before we solve it. User interface is bad, there is a lag time between the selection of the box and the selection of the number. I'd really prefer if we could just click on the box and press the respective numbers.

Showing the possible combinations for each box makes the whole idea of the mathematical operators pointless. You can just view the combinations and play it like regular sudoku without having to do any math.

fun game, i just wish there was an easier way to know if one box is like "5+2" instead of "2+5" instead of guess and check, but i probably just didn't have a good strategy myself i guess
