This would be such a relaxing, peaceful, meditative game if it weren't for that POW sound effect that plays every time you lose. I swear I flinch every time. XD

It would be interesting if there was a multiplier for the length or the amount of "happiness" you gave to a particular square at one time. So if you don't let go of a particular square for a long time you get tons and tons of happyiness, moreso if you manage to keep multible squares within your grasp... The multiplier would reset if you let go of it though. (maybe it would slowly get faster as well, to make it harder to catch as well?)

The more I play this, the more I think the end result of Love is a bunch of pissed-off exes that would kill you if they ever ran into you.

Wouldn't it be a more accurate simulation of love if everyone else found love while you just ran around trying to get even the smallest bit but end up killing yourself in the process?

After you get two and they start going in opposite directions...you realize you can only have one or the other....so you choose one,ending up getting too close to it,and die....5/5 for simulating real life,not some cheesy love cupid story.

I wish I knew....When you're Connected with the squares and following...are you pulling them or are they pulling you? It seems that love is a pushy thing....
It's part of a few things people felt were missing, but this being my first game, it was just too shittily coded to even add a pause function :P
I then recoded the whole game to make a newer version, in which holding the mouse button for a while will trigger pause. You can acces this newer version through my profile page if you'd like :)

Make it different shapes, the shapes that are the same mean people that are alike, the ones that are different are people that are different from one another, now this could have multiple effects (Terms like opposites attract, or like attracts like theories, maybe some shapes that don't hurt you etc.). Also, multiple sides to the shape could be multiple sides to the person. Just some thoughts.

am i the only one that finds it hilarious that the developer of this game will forever be known as the one who made love twice 0_0
Because if I replace it with the new version, then the badges will disappear, and nobody wants the badges to disappear :D
Oh and, by the way, the new version is also on Kongregate, I'm not trying to redirect your to another website.

Ok, I'm giving you 5/5 and favourited for the concept. And now the facts: 1) Pity there's no such thing as campaign etc, the game and the idea has HUGE potential, you're able to create the succesor of the "Comapny of Myself", try to expand it. 2) I feel like I were the bad guy in this game (not a bad thing, just wanted to notice it). 3) Try adding some exciting stuff - like that some of the square don't like being cheated, others would be addicted to you etc. etc. Make it even more realistic and psychedelic. Looking forward for your next productions.

When I look from a different perspective, this game is a little sick...Because, when you spin fast, you're REALLY happy. Others spin fast before you approach them. After you link yourself with them, they stop spinning- they stop being happy. So basically...you're draining the happiness of others for your own reasons. That's really selfish, isn't it?
