It was fun until level 20 when it became impossible. :( Overall a pretty good game! I do like that I can move towers and play around with the modules already in play. I do NOT like that I have to let towers recharge to place them, so I don't get to create a strategy focusing on one tower, but am forced to use more than one tower even if I think they are total crap.

i'm so slow almost forgot about this game, keep forgetting about the previous version, duh of course it's a good game!

oh another good combo is the AoE tower (the one that hits everything in range) plus lazer, this doubles its damage to single foes (or more due to how lazer works). just add a status effect to that for insanity :D

lv 25 challenge mode, i constantly fail during the glitches DX. i've tried using more towers. i've tried using towers on just the outer edges. i can't figure out how to deal with them. only scanners have decent range and fork+lazer is fantastic range boost plus AoE, but nothing seems to work.

one comment on the game balance wrt difficulty levels: currently you just need to save the 10 data cores on any difficulty setting and get
additional cores for upgrades depending on the difficulty. I think it would be more challenging if always the sum of all data cubes saved
plus the difficulty cores are earned such that you for example get 40 cores per level only (!), when you save all cores on highest
difficulty. If you saved only one core, it would then be only slightly better than saving all cores on hard setting. You know what I mean?

Cool game, one of the better tower defense types I've played, really enjoy it.
One minor bug, if the player holds down one of the number keys for a tower while they don't have enough energy, the game will rapidly grind to a halt (presumably because the 'not enough energy' display is rapidly playing over itself?)

@ Sickopath333 This is called "Difficulty" in a TD, i know its a foreign concept, but try to understand. If you could win it in a lot of ways, it would become boring as it would be too easy to stumble over one of those ways.

Game has glitched save files and errors, lost all my progress in ghosthunters.com and hard level 1. Please fix this, I really like this game

There is only one game more boring than this one: the "Downvote Every Single Negative Comment" game, which is pretty similar to the "Refuse to Accept Different Opinions" game.

One of the more fun TD games out there. Would like to have some time between the last kill and stage completion so when they drop cores they can be returned.

Big tip for Monster Mode--send many units down each channel at once. I was originally trying to tactically take out towers but the more you send at once the more overwhelmed the enemy is. usually higher HP/regen is worth the cost.

Artwork is good. Music is good. Dialog is funny. Unfortunately there are just so many tower defense games on Kong I've gotten sick of them. I can't bare to finish this even though I really want to read the rest of the story.

Best tip for monster mode is to OVERUSE the pause button. Check every unit's range and find ways to overwhelm them with the least units possible. Pausing not allows you time to think, but it also prevents the enemy from recharging their bursts. Also, don't forget to send out trash units to soak up the bursts before sending in your real programs! Good luck everyone!

RE badges, the "Ghosts in the Shell Badge" should be a MEDIUM, not a HARD badge.
the in-game "Core Master Achievement" would be the HARD badge.

Gameplay: Requires and rewards strategy and problem solving. Two game modes really helps break it up, and gives the game much more depth. Ability to combine any tower with any upgrade is freeing. Each enemy is unique, requiring you to think on how to best counter each one. Graphics: The graphics are VERY pretty eye candy and fit the theme. Love the enemies' unique looks/animations. I also love how the towers aim at the enemies and animate as well. The NPCs look amazing, and really bring you into the story (especially the easter egg NPCs). Sound: Love the high quality sounds/music. It really fits and feels right and I love the beat. The laser sounds are average, but how can you improve that? Story: The fact that a tower defense game has story is amazing let a alone a good one. It keeps you wanting to see and play more. Overall: Perfect sequel! You took the first game improved it and polished it to perfection. This game easily deserves the highest of scores. Dare I say more please?
