It would be absolutely fantastic if you jumped when you pressed the appropriate key/clicked the mouse. Timing is fairly impossible if the guy just keeps running instead of jumping when you want him to.

this game is not perfect, but it needs you to do PERFECT RUN EVERY LEVEL!!in big maps, you dont have the chance to look around, so you are going to die because you dont have full control nor time to think

If MY wife were kidnapped by aliens, I wouldn't really think of risking my infinite lives to pick up random gold coins spread throughout the enemy lair. (I mean, they could be bombs or something.) Why the creator didn't think of explaining this with some ransom storyline escapes me, but anyway, I'm not a developer. :P Nice game, cool concept, sometimes frustrating gameplay, fine for killing time. 4/5.

This could be a good game, if it wasn't for the fact that it's a buggy mess. The jump button doesn't always works, and in a game where that's the ONLY action you can take it makes it very frustrating.

Input detection works fine for me, BUT the game has weird physics (you accelerate in the air!), almost no player agency (1 action that is also contextual provides almost no interaction (you know, that thing that games are specifically good at?)), screen crunch (and by extension level memorization), and tedious designs to waste your time with uninspired platforming "challenges." This is hardly any fun; there were better platformers in the 80's. 2/5

The music is really well done, but the game isn't :/. Have to press jump ~3 times quickly in order to guarantee that the character jumps. And since that's the only mechanic in the game, it's a bit of a problem that it doesn't work right...

What kind of aliens have a ton of spikes in their spaceship? Granted, I don't know any aliens, but I would think their spaceship would be just a bit more comfortable for themselves.
Also, this game is pretty fun, but the jumping is a bit unresponsive at times. So 3/5, especially since jumping is the only control you have, at least make it gosh darn near perfect.

There are a couple of times i've wanted to quit this game out of frustration/boredom. But then i remember he said "i promise." You can never break a promise. 4/5

The only thing that annoys me is that the control doesn't always work, so it's annoying when you're so close to finishing the level with all coins, when *bam* you jump, but the game doesn't respond, so you hit that one spike-filled area.

Whoever chooses these for botd should have his/hers/its head examined. Or maybe play these in advance. One button and it only works 80-90% of the time.

I didnt like how only 1/3rd of my clicks registered until I randomly decided to right click and press play, til all of them started registering

I actually wish there were more levels like the bonus levels. The bonus levels showed an extra creative element that was somewhat lacking in the standard ones. The puzzles could be made much more complex, challenging, and entertaining if you took the elements of gravity shifting and falling through the ceiling into new level sets. The standard level set was good, the bonus levels showed the potential to be great.

This game is pretty lousy. No variation on the theme...granted, there are a lot of "retro" platformers out there (some pretty good, too) but I'm not a fan of the "you can only walk forward" schtick. The "plot" of having your wife kidnapped feels tacked on and superfluous, too. 1/5

Would have been a fun little game if hitting the jump key always made him jump. In a game where timing is crucial, intermittent failure of the controls is a huge flaw.

I had to restart some levels for 4-5 times to only see how levels look further. The should be option to see whole level before I start to run.

This game is clearly Science Fiction...
... and i don't mean the UFO part, but the fact that the woman was ready to go before her mate!

Fun little game, not much depth in the regular game but the additions of "bonuses" and the double jump at the end were helpful to keep things interesting. Bonus levels were great - I could've easily played 3-4 of each type and not gotten bored.

Its a fine concept, but its too damn hard to jump for some reason. In a game that consists of, um, JUMPING, that's a bug that needs to be fixed.

Simple one button input so *obviously* the game will be incredibly sensitive and responsive, allowing you to jump every time you press the button and immediately after the button is pressed. LOL NOPE. GL with figuring out the lag/unresponsive pattern. You'll die a lot in the process.
