Easy way to beat hard infected enemies: at the start of the game use the pause function to build constructors all the way to the enemy base, then build shruiken turrets and barricades. Enemies die off without getting to build anything. (Only works if the enemy base starts small though)

perhaps all of this stuff should have more hp. Everything is too fast, I can only build rush, without enjoying the fights :(

game randomly decides that the last enemy building isn't a target for any of my ships all the friggin time, forcing me to surrender matches that i already won.

When you update to fix the hanging please keep the filename the same so our save files aren't screwed up - a lot of devs forget to do that.
Also...Space to pause would be a great hotkey. The 2 max for auxiliary seems pretty limiting since shields and barricades are so essential (esp. shields).

aside from the name the game is pretty good. All you need are the missle firing 75 cost fighters though. Spam those and you win 99% of the time. Get the upgrades to make those ships stronger

Frozen maps, fix this problem for a really great game. Have had fun so far, just as it's starting to get challenging though maps stop working.

can you sort the upgrades from smallest to largest i mean i looking for the cheap ones and i have to hunt for them it annoy

@chuba click the help button. Black hole = time limit on the map, static = your stuff randomly gets disabled temporarily, heat = everything takes a small amount of damage constantly.

Is there any place that tells you what exactly a black hole, or static, or heat damage, etc does? Might help with planning. I was playing a Black Hole stage and just lost and I have no idea why.

maps tend to freeze up when you start at high difficulties. Eventually you can't progress because every map left freezes the game when you start. 2/5 until this is fixed.

pretty fun, speed is too high though. you don't really get a sense of what any individual ship or turret is doing to contribute

Here's how I play this: Before getting Constructor and Beam Turret, just wall up with double blasters with 2 layers of barricades and a few repairs, then grab the ship building speed upgrade and spam bombers. When those big AoE turrets appear, switch to battleship + anti-mediums. Once you get both beam turrets and constructors, hole up a bit with a bunch of beam turrets + repairs at the edge of your range, then rush 4 750 en reactors. After that, just keep adding constructors to the front and line up beam turrets, and watch the enemy base burn. ;3 Also, for levels with heat damage, just get 1-2 reactors, 2-3 repairs, and hole up with turrets. Comps don't really build repairers, so after a few minutes their builders burn up and you win.

also would be nice to see my energy regeneration, like energy regeneration per second or so, and see what each reactor would give! :D

This... This game is a true gem, I do agree with a sell button, and meaby a bigger screen for us ppl with high resolutions (the perfect compromise to screens would be selectable screen size). Amazing work!

Had to give it a 3 because of the game locking up at the 50+ difficulty missions. Will bump it up once it is fixed. Enjoyed the first part so far.

err. one of the defense maps (difficulty 55) with heat effect just ends in victory without any enemies appearing lol...

Enjoying the game so far. I haven't had to "spam" fighters to win the early levels. I do wish you could replay levels to get more credits just in case I do get stuck or just want to max out the upgrades.

love it! it's liker a star wars version of command and conquer. Fast and furious combat and you really have to think fast. fab

i dunno... not feeling it. has potential, but feels super scrambly at the start of each mission. if i build turrets, they seem to get annihilated... and based on the comments below, it seems like i should be focusing on just producing ships. do i have to play one specific way (rush tactics)?

6) Barricades are cheap, durable, and WILL block weapons fire of all types!
7) In Defense Missions, and any missions with the Green Infestation Opponents, focus on making lots of Fighter bays with Interceptors and Gunships, or otherwise Turtle with idea 4) !
8) LEARN FROM YOUR OPPONENTS. If you take the time to let him build up the first time you try a mission, you can see his tactics that he uses should you try again!
9) PROTECT YOUR BASE CONSTRUCTION BUILDING. If this goes, NO MORE BUILDINGS CAN BE BUILT.
10) Finally, if Infested, Your Ships and Buildings will do EXACTLY what they were made to do to support the Enemy! Your Turrets will shoot you, your Ships will Infest you, your Repair turrets will heal Infested ships/buildings, and your Structures will keep building Infested Ships!

Take the word of the guy who played (And beaten!) this game a week before its release on the creator's site:
1) The Resist Infest, Shock Resist, Heavy Industry, Ship Regen, Structure Regen, and all Hangar upgrades are VITAL to this game!
2) Your fight is to out produce the other guy! Quantity beats quality, as the computer usually has a starting advantage over you!
3) PAUSE THE GAME! You can place structures and defenses this way, and look at the enemy's base!
4) Early on, outproducing the other AIs is vital to your success! Later on, around the 60s difficulty levels, make Reactors, Missile Turrets, Rocket Turrets, Autoguns (for anything that gets by your Rockets and Missiles, good for Infestor shots!), and Repair Turrets (Heal ALL status effects)
5) With the Rapid Repair upgrade, your Repair Turrets can even cure Infestation!
