Are the levels randomly generated? Because I think some of them are impossible. And I'm not talking about the final level, that one's easy. I'm stuck on the last three missions that I have available.

@ Justin: Pause the game at the start. You can still build in Pause Mode! @ johnliu1: Delete *unit*? Are you kidding? ;) You can delete Buildings though with "K".

For me, difficulty 200 was much, much easier than difficulty 79. Just goes to show how ridiculously overpowered the infestors can be... On that note, I'd love to see the ability to play other factions/races/whatever they are that you're fighting.
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
The only strategy you need is: build three or four generators, then spam-build interceptors plus a few gunships and a few bombers if there are buildings to destroy. Most levels are won before you even think about building medium-sized ships.

Thanks for the great game. It seems to me that the final battle with the difficulty of 200 is easier than the battle of difficulty 70 where you get Dreadnought. Just my opinion. Strategy to beat the final: build 4 reactor, then 3 gunship fighters, then 2 light carriers, and then build 4 Super Carriers whenever you gain money; Pause then build, you'll have huge advantage!
Easy win :D

Red One this is Command. If you could get your squad to quit suiciding in kamekaze attacks against asteroids that would be lovely. Over.

Please allow me to replace the same games for extra cash, so I can grind upgrades to defeat enemies that I find too hard :)
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
Given that there's no way to grind up, would it be possible to add a reset button for upgrades so that we can try a different combination if we get really stuck, without having to start the whole game over again? Thanks!

@serenealixer
you can build stuff while the game is paused. so the first thing to do when a mission starts is actually to press the pause button ;-)

Missle racks can kill your base and so can Titan altillery why? your own explosions can damage your buildings and man.. when there was asteroids around missle racks turned useless gotta fix that prob D:btw it must be that the asteroid is clasified as another team "building" and thats why

Other things that could be improved :
- When you have alot of ships being built and blown up at the same time, it usually ignites a firestorm that rolls around and blows up even more ships...
- Very fast paced, almost too fast, you don't to watch all the battles and stuff like that, rather you're just spamming hangar bays.

Yes, one of my faves on badge of the day! Nice to revisit this one, check out part three if you haven't it's monstrously good.

Super Carrier: Should I look this way? That way? maybe this way? naw, lets just attack the smallest unit flying by instead of attacking the huge ship that those little ships are coming out of..

It's a nice game all-in-all, but the black holes open too soon. There's no timer. All you know is that in about 3 minutes you see a black dot in the middle of the screen, then by minute 4 it's about to kill you.
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
Finally got hard badge... some lvls are straight out impossible tho. for instance 2nd from top on far left, his guys are twice as fast as mine and if i blow them up their carcasses explode on your base...

nc game 5/5 for good i hope in the future that there will be Obliterate Everything 3 its cool but on this game its nice if theres a quality button to change its quality and graphics hope you agree
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
This is one of the few games I wholeheartedly give a 5/5 to. The game is fast paced, but with the option to construct while paused so you don't feel too rushed. The various levels require a wide array of strategies, including equipping different sets of units to tackle different obstacles. This is one of the very, very few where I played the game all the way through and reset it so I could play it through again.

Sometimes difficult to tell if the map is completed or not. Perhaps changing the color of the star once the map has been defeated would stop me from squinting at the monitor to see if it is larger than an uncompleted star.

Step 1: build Reactors. Like, a lot of them.
Step 2: build Fighter Bay and set to Interceptor.
Step 3: keep repeating step 1 and 2 until the entire screen is filled with little blue ships.
Step 4: profit.

I just stood there with 20 turrents and no fighters or attackers on lvl 1... Finally he got the destroyer and the starport .-.
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
It would be nice if the guns were a little smarter.... rather than having all of them turn to pick off a few small fighters it would be nice if they would stay and shoot at the large ship sending the fighters... wouldn't that be more logical?
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
As others said I need a restart button. But I also need a way to command ships. Not just produce them. Say I can set a starports meet up point sometime so I can at least tell new ships where to go. Useful when more enemy bases. Some of the game modes like pincer: only one? while defense mode is just 2 reactors, 2-4 repair turrets, spam basic turrets every single mission, except the final where interceptors and 2-4 super carriers got me the hard badge easily after failed tries with other strategies.

Seriously, the infestation mechanic is way too powerful. WITH infestation resistance there is a good chance that a single hit by an infestation pod will instantly turn a unit/building. Without it it's, what, 100% chance (I bought infest resist before a single infestation mission so I don't know for sure). It should be brought down a little; I know it's meant to be challenging but it's a crapshoot, more about luck than planning and skill.

Midgame strategy involves buildling 1/2 reactors and spamming Interceptors until you win. This has the side effect of being tremendously effective against green. Lategame strategy centres almost entirely around Physics Labs. Miners+Labs negate the need for expensive Reactors. Asteroid missions are speed wins as you throw down 3 Labs, ~10 Miners and proceed to use the huge cashflow to build Capships and more Labs. Non-asteroid missions are a bit less gimmicky, you'd be using combinations of Labs, Miners, Small ships into Medium into Capital as income slowly builds up. Shurikens and Missiles sometimes necessary.

I was winning really well. I had 100% offensive dominance from my spam of fighter type units. They destroyed the enemy base. The explosion from the enemy base unit causes a chain of explosions that destroys my entire camp and all of my fighters. There's that, and theres the stationary chain explosions that go on for like 10 seconds because my fighters are too stupid not to fly right into them.

95% the game cleared in 1 try, 4 levels all with pink race, aw hell no, forget about it. How does the pink race get balanced actually?
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
badge hunters: You can complete the game very quickly using only interceptors and barricades.
--
Pause the game, spend all the starting energy on interceptors and they will quickly handle the enemy bases. It is really difficult to defend against burst of these ships. For some levels the structure regeneration upgrade is required and for others a single layer of barricades might be needed to protect the fighter bays.
--
For the final level you need 3 layers of barricades facing the enemy and build the fighter bays horizontally to defend against the first couple of ships. I needed 1 repair turret to prolong the life of the station but finished the level after it had been destroyed regardless.

That pause button can be really helpful at the beginning... otherwise the computer out builds you by a handful of seconds and those seconds add up quickly.

I just love this game! I've gone back to it play it again like 10 times since its release! I'm excited to hear about a third one!

WTF, on the final mission I only built 2 Titan Turrets and won in like 30 seconds? Does something seem wrong with that?

Pretty cool game. Good balance and enough unlocks and upgrades too keep me interested. Not very often that a flash game keeps my interest longer than an hour. 5/5
