The ball physics seem reasonable but the flipper action was a little off. When you hit a ball on the inside of the flipper it exerts less force than on the end of the flipper. In this game the flipper seems to be treated more like a "curved paddle" that shoots upwards. (Sort of the difference between a bunt and a swing...if the bunt were done with a curved bat.) Otherwise I thought it was great. The goals within the game seems obscure at times...I wasn't sure what I should be aiming for next...but I did just fine by slamming the ball whenever I could. For larger developments I'd like bigger boards and maybe some stronger thematic "adventure"-type stuff. (Maybe a board for each stage of an epic journey..."the woods", "the castle", "the dungeon", etc.

The game is cool, but it needs extra work. The physics are not entirely well done: the ball feels like a balloon. You should also try to implement ramps, multi-ball, and extra lanes.

Probably the only form of pinball I enjoy playing. I would have flipped (ignore the pun) if you put in a little 8-bit version of Pinball Wizard.

A very nice concept, but only an average game I'm afraid. This still needs some work with the physics, and a few more levels would have been nice. 3/5

This reminds me of that metroid pinball for the DS, except the ball was a robot, had hp and could travel between areas during one game. Now that was a good experience for me. This however, the ball rolled too slowly for my liking.

The only two (though VERY minuscule) is to implement a way to allow us to "Bump" the table having a chance to "Tilt" if done too many times in succession. The other is the coin collecting. Sometimes my ball goes so fast that the coins stop chasing the ball. If I earned those coins, then they should head to the ball no matter where it is on the playing field. It's still a great game and hope for more tables.

I liked it, but I think the high scores could use more stats. Most monsters killed, most quests completed, and if possible, a total score from all four tables. Besides that, great game, can't wait for the next!

Cons; Like I said before; well, I can't think of any more cons, you can think them up yourself. Summary: Excellently planned, extended gameplay, but not much EXTRA action. It would be good if there was more than the treasure room or the bosses for big points, but hey, as others have said before me, that's what sequels are for. Come on people, I think with a tiny bit-TINY-of fine-tuning this game deserves to be on the front page. The world needs more than TDs and shooters. Let's give this one a chance.

5/5 faved. This game is the best in a long line of games that has almost no population for this kind of gaming! This has a lot of pros, but also some cons: Pros; Excellent use of flash and pixel art gives plenty of eye candy; almost random physics make it even more fun to play; the quests give a bigger goal than just to get the jackpot; the tables aren't that complicated, so you can easily follow the action, but that is also a slight con because it means that a lot of people who like more than two flippers don't generally get them. Extended in next comment.

Great concept and an A for effort and creativity. Need a lot of work on the physics, and maybe a multi-ball feature. Game took about 20 minutes to get to the "Thanks for Playing", so I'd say it's a good choice if I was looking for a short time-filler type game. 4/5

I think it's natural for people to comment on the physics the first time they play it, because it really sticks out at first. I think you guys who worked on the game are so used to its unique quirks that you don't realize how it seems to a new player. But that's not a bad thing! Players can easily get used to it too! After playing awhile, you become accustomed to how everything works. It may not always make sense compared to real pinball, but it hardly ruins the game. Things like the kickers shooting straight up, certain spots quickly revving a slow upward-moving ball through a loop, etc, are actually more helpful than harmful. They work in a predictable way and don't lead to cheap deaths, so what's the problem? I would hate to see you "fix" an already great game after so many people have already put up high scores under the original conditions. Keep the faith! 5/5

I think the flippers have a mushy response. I would expect them to be snappier. (technical terms I know.)
Good start.

About the physics: when I hugged the ball to hold it then let it go to roll it down slowly and take a skill shot the thing bounced up, a real steel ball would never do that. This tried and true old school tactic should work in the physics of any good pinball game. (right flipper in level 4 at least...)

Great fun but there are a few simple issues, unless I missed it I can't find the requirement to get to the next stage for any of the stages. Also the achievements are lacking, there's only two "endurance" achievements and there's the usual, out of the way credits achievement which annoy me. Last thing is the flipper controls aren't as responsive as they could be, I've hit the button and nothing's happen a few times. Still 5/5.

Good to see a flash pinball game, but the bland level design and the same quests repeating does get old. Has potential. 3/5

This feels like a crappy knock off of what pinball really is. The ball moves around without a sense of physics. Its lacks skill shots, allows you to hit the ball back to the plunger (huge waste of time and annoyance) no way to earn extra balls and most importantly doesnt have the one thing that makes pinball so much fun MULTIBALL!!!!
The levels are lackluster and boring, the bumpers hit the ball up no matter which direction it comes from and even if it barely hits it. It feels like a game where someone was described what pinball is like without even playing it.

This game has a RPG feel to it, but a few things can make it better. I end up shooting my ball back into play several times a game, so maybe a one way or permanent door after you shoot the ball into play. Sometimes I start off with a quest that takes me a million points to finish because of the way the game is set up; for example kill 20 imps on a level where out of a total of 10 creatures on the playing field 0 are imps. It doesn't seem like a big deal, but it takes forever. My suggestion either set up a specific order in which the quests appear or add another variable that can detect exactly what creatures are in the playing field. About the physics; if my ball hits the bumpers just right, my ball is shot down the hole which I understand IS a part of the game, but I still hate it. As far as I can tell, there is no "tilt" like in classic pinball games, maybe consider adding that also? Oh and I would love to see more levels! Overall it is a great and entertaining game. 5/5

The kickers are just plain wrong. Take a look at the behaviour of the kickers on a real table, and see the the kicker face is straight, it does not curve at the end and push the ball down the chute when it fires. Also the kickers in this game do not fire the ball back at a realistic angle. Sometimes the ball fires away from the kicker as it should (like light reflected from a mirror), sometimes they fire the ball straight upwards, which is obviously wrong.

What would be nice is a "Skip Bounty" Button, but it would deduct a certain amount of your points. The amount of point deducted would increase each use.

The best pinball game ever seen in Kongregate!
Loved all about the game, simple graphics, the phisics engine, the sub-quests to acheive in the boards... very good ideas, in a brilliant execution!

The physics: it's not so much that the power is off, nor that it's too "floaty", but (at least for me) it seemed like the kick direction was wrong. Example: the large triangle-shaped kickers at the bottom kick outward on a real table. In this, they almost always kick upward. That'd be hard to accomplish on a real table, and makes the game seem odd. I had the same problem with all of the other kicks, including monsters... kick direction just seemed off.

I feel the game has a weird atmosphere with Emo skulls and such but with light heart-ish gameplay. It just doesn't seem to match, along with the fact that almost everything is a dark color making it very hard to see what is an object and what isn't. Your physics are also very messed up, sometimes even flipping out it appears. I honestly think you need to go back to the drawing board and thing of a way to make it all fit better and make some improvements. 3/5.

I was a huge fan of Sonic spinball. infact, i've always loved pinball games. but because I love them, I am a hars h critique to them. Because I know good pinball, and if I don't think it's good pinball, it ain't good pinball. this? this impressed me. I expected a cheap little pinball copy from any new computer. But this was actually inventive and original. At least in it's path. Hard to be completely original with pinball. I think you should hadd more stages, some power-ups would be good (the classic multi-ball would be a nice idea) and a little more variaty in bosses. Aside from those, comparatively small things, This was the best pinball game that has been uploaded to the internet in a very long time. I give this game a 4/5. Not the best in the world, and could use some light upgrades, but overall....a very fun and addicting game. I'm also going to fave this game because it has proven itself.

Scores for Stage 2/3/4 don't seem to be posting to Kongregate. We'll fix this asap, your personal best will be posted when it's fixed, even if you got the score before the fix.

Too Short (I know people will regard this as spam and flood it with -1's but it IS true. 4 levels isn't exactly worthy of being called a full game. I mean, what if Sacred Seasons only had 4 quests. EVERYBODY would be flipping about on it so you can't really say that my 2 word comment was not Constructive Criticism.

Most frustrating part is when you press the flipper button and it flips 1.5 seconds later. Your ball passes right over the flipper and goes down the drain.

I think that if you could make it so that we could change the controls, that would be neat. Let me explain why I suggest that. I'm kinda used to Windows XP Pinball and how the controls where set up. "Z" for left flipper, "/" for right flipper, and "Space Bar" for plunger. I understand that you wouldn't change the control setup just for me, but I really like this game and the current control setup is still a bit hard for me to get used to. Just wanted to let you know. Good game though, I really like it. Has that "Old School" feel. 4/5 for now.

I've manage to get the bal back into the launcher every level somehow. If they had a bounty for that, I would get it easy.
