Why is it that some countries close their borders, airports, etc. when the disease has no symptoms but Greenland only closes stuff when there is no one left alive?

Oh Madagascar, how weird you are. When a single person is found to be infected outside of your country, you shut everything down. But when people in your country are infected, you couldn't give enough Sh*ts.

I haven't played this game since July 2008. Today, I ran across the news headline "Bubonic plague killed 20 villagers in Madagascar, health experts confirm;" and for some reason, I immediately thought of this game. Weird how the brain works....

In 2009, a boat departed from America. Within the next few days, all shipyards on the atlantic ocean were shut down. That same boat proceded to sail around the atlantic in little circles, looking for a shipyard, for the rest of the game.
