I just don't get it, I follow Nauto98011 strategy exactly and after 5 countries being infected nearly everything closes...

Nauto98011 strategy works, but its so chancy that ive had a little success, and then a lot, and then none again. Did you favor a country over the other ones you listed as the best one to start at?

My strategy (NOT TESTED EXTENSIVELY) Start out with virus and do what Nauto (top commenter) says up to Step 4. You should now go IMMEDIATELY to Tier 4 and ONLY keep diseases that have no noticeability (or very slight). Make sure you have heart failure as it gives no noticeability and a high rate of death. If Madagascar ever closes it's shipyards, restart. The same goes for any island that closes everything. (any land-connected countries will ABSOLUTELY be infected by now, unless they closed airports and shipyards early). Plus me if this worked out for you! (may take a few tries)

Of course, the first thing I do when I see a disease that does absolutely nothing when a vaccine is in development is shut down all hospitals within the country.

I have infected the whole world! Except Madagascar... they suck... frickin, dock only, too dam cheap to buy an airport.

Goddamit. Keep restarting to get Madagascar as my starting point on realistic. I gave up after an hour go on relaxed once and start in Madagascar. FML -_-

In reality, Madagascar has more than 1 seaport, and some airports (erm... i think). *sigh*

bought all cold heat moisture and drug and i have nothing else (playing as virus)
then purchased sneezing and in 4 hours infected all but two area Madagascar and Australia
Then out of no where Madagascar shut down everything

Why would the whole world start to burn bodies and close every public facility because of a virus that has 0 lethality and no syptoms, even if it does infect millions. :S

i accidently without even thinking infected all the countrys and had like 100 DNA points to spend and i wiped out the human race in like 20 days, then i realized i was on relaxed and cried

i did it, finally, the impossible badge, one thing that is helpful is having the stealth trait, did it in like 80 days or so
