Cypher, in my experience you have to go back to the main menu in order for your progress to save. Does that work for you?

To get skullies quickly, don't play survival.
It's only 0.2 skullies/s, instead of 0.38 for the level 6 in the manor.

There are a few bugs in this game:
1) When you wall run over the four swinging maces and two sets of three blades in the middle on nightmare mansion in survival mode, you slow down as if you were still going uphill. Please fix this!
2) If you run into a post of column or similar and then run into a blade or buzzsaw while still resetting, you die anyway.

Ok, I think I've got the skully rate figured out. The base rates per difficulty are: Easy 0.5/100mt., Normal 1/100mt., Hard 1.5/100mt., Nightmare 2/100mt.. These rates increase over time.

Changing my initial rating of this game. I really like the game, it's fun and all, but with the upgrades being so expensive, it gets boring if you can't buy new locations without playing for weeks. I'll update the rating back to 5 if the upgrade system is improved.

@Dkct: Thanks! I finally have a gold medal on every run. I expected a little surprise or gift for this accomplishment, little disappointed. But still love the game! Can't wait for next world. =D

For NielssC: On lvl 6 of grisly manor, after the two speed boosters, you take 3 coins in each side and there is a row of coins ahead that kind of asks for 2 wall grips. Well, behind the purple flag that is fixed at the bridge in this part, there is a silver coin. Hope it helped.

Can someone explain the rate of coin collection in Survival Mode? I've been trying to find ways to maximize it, but it seems erratic. I think it's based on 1coin/100mt., but this changes by the day. Fred's speed also seems to play a role but I'm not sure how yet. Also, does Running Fred have a wiki or other information site?

I can't find every coin in Grisly Manor level 6. I get always 58 coins, resulting in a silver medal, so I guess there are 2 more coins somewhere in the level, but I simply can't find them. Has somebody found every coin on level 6 - Grisly Manor?

Well...I definitely give the game 5/5 :D there are a few problems here and there, I've run into a few problems myself, but the good overpowers the bad :D. I really hope the new worlds come out soon.

The upgrades are expensive, but they can throw out all the game fun if maxed. The chicken thing, for example. On full level (it costs more than 20 thousand to do that, but you can make it for 2 thousand on a offer like today, of 90%), it can pass any challenge without wall grip. And in survivor, it can beat any difficulty from above or from the sides. Its ridiculous good. Pay its price. Needs the new world soon also =D

i think some of the stuff should cost less and that there should be achievements. and one or two of the death traps should be removed

The upgrades and even the costume changes cost way to much. There need to be more achievements or bonuses for achieving milestones. for example I have gained all gold medals for the first level set and yet gained no extra skullies for it. Give us bonuses for doing such hard things.

each suit should have its on ability like jumper fred can jumper higher and farther, run fred run can run run faster, spartan fred can block 1 trap with his shield, cyborg can use his shot gun once etc, and you should be allowed too get the chest once a day

A bug occurred I was jumping like crazy in the 8th level in the mansion when I bumped into a wall, fell and the door in front of me won't open. Fred just ran in place until Grimmy caught and killed him.

Reduce upgrade/outfit prices + Make it so you can buy outfits for Grimmy, e.g. Police Officer so you get the sense your being chased by one.
