I think that the fact that every CongressPerson needs to wear either a ceramic helmet or battle armour when going to Congress in order to prevent being murdered should make the people afraid. Yes, very afraid. Muah. Muaha. Muahaha. MUAHAHAHAHAHA

You know, being in the green party makes you think a lot about which bills can affect the country positively, but the idea of passing "bad" bills to sink the country is starting to sound so inviting to me.

We manage a negative population growth (population shrinking?) of almost 3%. That's kinda impressive, in an insane, hilarious, almost desperating way. Well, at least everyone is both happy and healthy (that's quite important for nice and nutritious soylent green) as they line up to off themselves.

...Stupid mistake, went to increase defense spending, Drop my keyboard(I have it in my lap) and went with decrease education funding. This is against my ideas, for we need well educate scientists to make the super weapons we need to conquer the world. Also I'm low on clout now.*
The mistakes show just how upset I was.

How did they all appear so fast?
I probably changed the status at his request. The Clout-side stuff for transferring characters to other games is implemented, and actually already works on both sides for The Lobby.

Yesterday, our salaries doubled while debt went down 25%. As you can see, this single data point proves that debt has a negative causative relationship with our quarterly salaries. Keep raising those salaries and eliminate the debt.

Well, we are funding human cloning and soylent green... That should solve all our nutritional problems for a while.
Also, 'murica. Hell yeah.

YESSSSS. I want a confession option. And you can pick the type of scandal from a drop-down menu. Perhaps the CSP hit is less because you're being a more forthcoming.

Although I haven't been playing this game for quite some time ago, I just came by to say this is one of the best games I've ever experienced. Nice to see the dev's still active in the comments. :D

So, we need to have districts. We need a specific area of a state to represent. Occasionally, there should be random events (kinda like the random hatemail/grandma letters) that notify us of events and legislation important to our district, and how our district would like us to vote. If we fail to act in the way they wish, we lose a lot of CSP, and it impacts our district negatively.

So, we need to have the choice, when creating a character: Single or married?? Married has the added option of having your wife campaign for you in the campaign management section, but if you're involved in an intern or prostitute scandal, it does twice the CSP damage, and you don't have the "Wife campaign" option any more.

A bug: Trying to withdraw money from your offshore accounts when you have no money in there gives you a "Hacking the game is bad, mmmkay?" message." Dunno if it's intentional.
nah, it should stop you before you get that message if you're using the actual interface. I'll fix it. Thanks for reporting that. The way PHP scripts work, you basically have to validate on the front AND back end redundantly or you open yourself up to hacking in one way or another (or just have a weird and confusing interface if you do zero validation on the front end).edit: this is now fixed. It also helped me fix this other weird bug in chrome, so thanks for that too!

Perhaps a private investigator could be hired to look into the whole stalker issue. Either that or offer a bunch kreds or whatever to anyone who can do some successful amateur investigating on the matter and is able to dig up some concrete info on who is exactly doing what and why. There's got to be more to it than just that info posted in global.... If you pull the thread.... the sweater will begin to unravel......
I have various federal entities looking into things already. Though, sure, anyone who wants to dig up information on this and give it to me can get cosmetic item rewards. Why not.

I think that there should be more equipment available for purchase after Clout Tier Three to keep it fresh for long-running players. Other than that, I play this every day because of how... realistic... it is
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
curious about the items, if I store an item that is CT3 in my off shore accounts can I wear it when CT1/CT2 in my next reincarnation or will it just sit in my inventory until I'm able to get back to CT3?
You can wear equipment at any clout tier. It's intended that losing your seat with stuff in your boxes is like a "New Game+" of sorts. Also, if you store clout it will be added to your lifetime clout once you create a new character. That's so you can't store a bunch of clout and have abilities you're not supposed to have at a lower tier.

Have you ever considere the possibility of Delos being his own stalker?? I mean... The game crashes sometimes, that´s why we all kind of believe there is someone messing around but... Who would care for a small game played by such a small community?? What if, in fact, Delos would be insanely crashing his own game so people would believe it? Would that be impossible? I don´t think so...
The game has literally never crashed. The stalkers used to bribe or threaten the hosting company into shutting off the server and blaming it on RAM. Moved hosting companies, never happened again. The server's back to running on 256MB of RAM, by the way. The people after me care about attacking me, not the game in specific. Nice try at your usual lies and deflection, though, stalker.

Rorschach007, check to see if you have spare tabs of clout open, I think that will cause that problem. It also could be a virus on your computer that caused it, do a quick scan to see if that is the case with your security thing.

http://cloutiversenews.blogspot.com/2014/10/bugs.html check my recent transactions to you Q. I legitimately only paid you 1 kred and got a slot. If you don't believe me you can log in as me. 12q wasn't lying about this, it's a legitimate bug and I just tried it myself to prove it works.
Hm. Notice how the database mysteriously disappeared? There's no bug. Stalkers are back. Though I do know how I'm pretty sure, so I may be able to stop it again.

In my opinion to all new players... Since happiness is at 100%, be a socialist and start signing "Increase Income Tax" bills
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
Idk about Delos, but I'd want all these bugs to be privately reported. It's not too appealing to new players to see the comments section filled with talks of allegedly exploitable bugs and stalkers.

Very interesting game concept. Never heard of Clout before. If you could build Clout, The Lobby, etc up even more and integrate them seamlessly there's no telling the amount of emergent gameplay that could come of it or how this satire might actually take on a life of its own and raise interesting concepts and insights on politics in general. Already i've seen that these satirical politician players are building power bases, going after each other in groups, and acting like real politicians.
