Under rating threshold (show) It's gone.. just as I'm really getting back into it :( This saddens me a lot, I really enjoyed this game. I have to admit though, for delosford to be writing abusive comments to users like he was, I'm not hugely surprised. Honestly, I'd even thought someone else may have been using his account it was that bad. Such a shame. RIP Clout

Under rating threshold (show) This saddens me. I started playing a few years ago. Since I move around alot, I didn't really get to play again until the end of highschool. I tried to send a message to Delosford. I offered my opinion and advice. All he has to give me in return is insults. So even though I hate to see this great game go; good riddance Delosford. You single-handedly ruined your own masterpiece.

Under rating threshold (show) God delosford. I just was asking a genuine question about getting clout from playing against a bill. The game must have been just a little slow for one day, cause I didn't see an obvious jump in clout considering the amount of capital I invested until a few days later. Get a grip on it man; not all of your players are saboteurs.

I don't even know what you're talking about, but if I went off on you it was for a reason. Sounds like the only one who needs to readjust their grip on reality is you.

Under rating threshold (show) To give some clarification, the game is taken down on kongregate. It doesn't mean it's dead. I doubt the game will ever come back because the delosford got a week ban for trying to upload the game again XD. He also seemed to not say a lot of nice things about kongregate on his fb post he made today :/

Under rating threshold (show) And considering how long some features have taken to be implemented (which itself is completely understandable due to your busy schedule) introducing an item that can't be removed until another update is added is a bad idea. I'm against these gimmicks, but if we are to have them they should be fully implemented rather than be incomplete and lead to items you can't remove without warning.

+ - !

So by "without warning" you mean "repeatedly stated in various posts, chats, forum posts, etc."?

Under rating threshold (show) I rate the game 1/5. Gameplay quality is good, satire is high, but the developer is a nutjob who bans any players who don't agree with his Nazi ideals. He will steal your money and then ban you. Do not play unless you want some nutjob who thinks some stalkers are trying to fill up planes with plants so that he can't have a seat.

+ - !

(83)

Developer response from delosford

The FAA seems to disagree with you. Also The FBI, DHS, etc, etc etc. However, people who are working with the stalkers will always try to call me crazy when I shed light on their activities... no mater how obvious the evidence and how poorly-conducted your coverups.

Under rating threshold (show) I encourage any new players to leave this game immediately. The game has been ruined at this point, with all the banning, kreds will be stolen, and you will be verbally harassed. Please upvote this comment so that newcomers can see it.

+ - !

(73)

Developer response from delosford

No kreds have been stolen, there's just a few sad-ass players that think spending a couple bucks and playing this game for years entitles them to flagrantly break the rules and not get banned.

May. 17, 2015

Under rating threshold (show) Please, delos, stop being so aggressive. The playerbase is coming up with genuine concerns and the least you could do is look into it and try to fix the problems. Just stop assuming everyone is trying to mess with you. In fact, most of us here really care for the game and want to help you with it, and, honestly, alienating everyone with those kneejerk reactions is a surefire way to destroy the community, which is the last thing you want. So, once again, on behalf of the cloutiverse community (which, I believe, would agree with this), please, redirect your efforts towards improving the game instead of attacking those who try to be helpful and provide feedback.

Aug. 26, 2014

Under rating threshold (show) You never mentioned it in-game and and only mentioned it once as far as I can tell on the forums (in a thread that gave no indication of being of any special importance). Suggesting that even comes where close to a fair warning in ludicrous. Also it still makes no sense as a MISC item. Can this go back to being a government simulator instead of having this dumb devil stuff?

+ - !

(53)

Developer response from delosford

Pretty sure there's no less than 5 threads on the forums about it, and I've mentioned it in-game numerous times.

KelvaK

Nov. 19, 2014

Under rating threshold (show) 1/5. It's an okay game, but the developer just verbally harasses his playerbase, bans them, and doesn't give good reasoning for his actions. It's just an overall unhappy arua and time could be spent better. Dev banned someone for having a common name (not in game name, but his legitimate real name that he used for the game) and dev put a conspiracy behind it that said person was slandering dev- banned. Do not recommend imo

+ - !

(89)

Developer response from delosford

No, I banned someone for making references to my personal life in-game which proved they were working with the organizations stalking me. On top of that: they broke the rule of denying the existence of the people stalking me. The end.

Under rating threshold (show) Win Bill that might pass?? No prob, Delos will just create an excuse so he can interact with it and ruin it... Apparently someone is cheating so he can make some changes...

+ - !

(84)

Developer response from delosford

Can you come up with another explanation as to why a good number of people who don't actually play the game suddenly came back just to vote in a win bill committee? Like usual, your conspiracy theories have no merit or basis in reality, and the complaints boil down to "waaaah he's not letting cheating benefit me! Waaaahhhhh"

HarveyJ

Aug. 26, 2014

Under rating threshold (show) Also it doesn't matter if it was mentioned once, twice, 5 times, or 100 times gimmicky items that can not be removed (and so long as it remains in it's current state there is no way to remove it) are really dumb and so is the increasing presence of all this silly supernatural stuff.

+ - !

(52)

Developer response from delosford

Right, because Clout is clearly devoid of such things. Like Relics. Also, how did you manage to read the forums and still not understand the mechanic at all? It's not a "gimmick" it's "excellent game design", and frankly I don't actually care whether or not you agree.

HarveyJ

Aug. 25, 2014

Under rating threshold (show) Introducing gimmicky items that can't be removed is a terrible idea and should be removed from the game ASAP.

Aug. 25, 2014

Under rating threshold (show) I assumed the game wouldn't do something as dumb as to have something that can't be removed, and suggesting that not having combed over every forum post justifies an item that can't be removed is an asinine defense.

+ - !

(54)

Developer response from delosford

So you really need to read the forums, because it's part of a larger game mechanic playing between Clout and The Lobby, including followers of the Dark Gods and The Illuminati/Knights Templar. You can't just take it off, but that doesn't mean you're stuck with it permanently (though, temporarily you actually are because I haven't added a way for people to become Illuminati/Templar yet in the world, but the code supports it).

HarveyJ

Aug. 26, 2014

Under rating threshold (show) I've never seen it mentioned it game and after combing over the forums there are a grand total of two threads that state that there are new items that can not be removed. A third mentions that they might be cursed but says nothing of the sort about not be able to remove them. That seems lie pretty short notice to me.

+ - !

(35)

Developer response from delosford

No, there are more than a few threads that spell things out pretty clearly. Corruption-specific threads, threads about Etherium Rifts, all kinds of stuff. I also mentioned it in-game repeatedly. But please, use new mechanics without knowing what they do and then complain that they weren't what you imagined them to be. That sounds really productive.

Under rating threshold (show) This was a great game, and in concept it still is. But well... I don't believe you anymore. Simple. It's sad that a good game like this is being crashed like this- and if what you said were true, this would have gone public by long. Under rating threshold (show) Hey there, Mr. Developer! I was wondering if you'd like to read an advance copy of my upcoming novel. The first chapter is 300 pages long, written during a period of brief insanity, and I changed every third letter to that symbol Prince used during the editing process. + - !

(23)

Developer response from delosford

No... lots of people reported bugs that didn't actually exist. It turned out many of them were deliberately trying to damage the game either of their own accord or by working with the people stalking me, and they got banned for it. The game also isn't in beta.

athompson3977

May. 10, 2015

Under rating threshold (show) Delos, chill man. As the developer could you not at least investigate players concerns and problems rather than just saying they don't happen. Glitches occasionally happen, not everyone is trying to exploit the system and sometimes things don't work out quite the way they are programmed. I am not denying that there are hackers out there. But I don't think that every person with a problem is a hacker. Is it too much to investigate whether superdupercat's problem was legitimate. Maybe PM him to find out what items he lost and then check and make sure that he was of the appropriate CT to obtain those objects. Then, if you decide to give it to him, check to make sure he does not pawn those objects, and if he does then take whatever action you deem appropriate.
