Thanks for the feedback and support! The CPI is not currently modeled, which would be more what you're talking about. Historically, I think the CPI also has a loose or potentially inverse relationship with the price of illicit drugs. However, I do have plans to implement bills that will alter the cost of drugs and perhaps also items (drug law bills and sales tax or something). These bills will ALSO modify costs of other games connected to Clout, such as The Lobby and Campaign Trail (both currently only in the planning stages, but The Lobby should be open in some form within a month at most).

Thanks for the feedback! It does mention this when you first create your character, but it should probably be stated in the help. It's not really important for newbies to know as you can go up in tier without suffering any penalties. Penalties only occur once you reach CT2 or higher. If you're higher than CT1 and play on a CT1 player's bill, you will suffer a penalty (50% if you're 3+). If you're CT4 and act on a CT2 player's bill, you operate at 80% strength. All of the autobalance percentages are carefully designed to balance higher and lower tier players in a fair fashion to discourage griefing and ganking, but still allow multiplayer interaction.

You can still get to the game through the mobile site, but it's kind of a pain. I'll see if Kongregate has any way to allow mobile devices to bypass that by default for the game.

There are probably various mistakes on the page still. I've been going through correcting them as people point them out. Usually I tried to go by whatever their party's stated platform was in the country in question. I'm pretty sure that "conservatives" in Canada/most of Europe would be considered more center-left in the US.

I started work on Clout some years ago, though most major development has occurred within the last two years, with a sharp increase in work in the last year.

I don't think anyone's suggested that first one, actually... why would you want to? Impeaching the president isn't a bad idea in theory, but there has to be some actual reason for impeachment. I'm not sure how to work that into the mechanic as suggested.

It would be possible... but if you're looking to customize the appearance of your character, for now you can look in the Pawn Shop for custom item tokens and dyes.

I might do that for one box, though the logistics of doing it kind of suck considering how the microtransactions work. Dyes will never be purchasable with in-game money. I like that they give a neat way for people to display their support of the game in a way that other players can see. Allowing them to be purchased with cash would cheapen that. I've also had the idea to have the press randomly investigate folks... but it seems like a lot of people are having issues staying afloat as-is. Once I get scandals and investigations all balanced to my liking I might implement something like that. Other countries will have an effect on the game when I'm done with foreign relations.

It's not the elliptical shape. I assure you that any human brain will automatically compensate for that. Pie charts in general are not good for conveying specific information. It's there mostly to look pretty, and making it a circle makes it look like complete crap.

Like... at all? Do you ever see a loading bar? If all you see is a grey box and never see a loading bar or the kongregate ad, reload the whole page. That's some kind of error with Kongregate I think. I get it occasionally.

Thanks for the feedback and support! The game's rating was actually dragged down a while back by trolls that are against all games with any sort of micropurchase system. It's been steadily going back up since, and we're about to hit "top rated" at 3.5 stars. I have little doubt it will continue up from there thanks to input from players like you and the impending release of The Lobby.

The rating didn't actually change. I believe the less precise rating changes when you get past the halfway point towards the next value. So in other words, the 3.5 becomes a 3.6 when the precise rating is >=3.556, instead of 3.56 or even 3.6 as expected.

yeeeah... I kind of want to remove that for them, but then I wonder maybe I should remove other abilities for other parties and it kind of creates a bit of a slippery slope there when I wanted all abilities to be available to every party from the start.
