First off, I appreciate the developers chiming in on the forums.
Second, I will acknowledge that wait-to-do-things-or-pay-to-not-wait format is probably here to stay: while maybe 1% of the playerbase will actually pay for things, that 1% will pay enough to keep you guys out of the red. From a business perspective it makes sense.
That doesn't mean I don't get to grumble about it. I miss the days when you could just buy a game and have all the content it had to offer, but those days are probably not coming back.
Fourth, I want to echo other comments about a queue-- it would be nice to have that feature from the get-go.

So, my taxes are on 17 silver. I click collect and I get 16.
They are 2, I get 1.
You are stealing Silver from me D:
Also, even though I get the whole "pay to play" mechanic, the times on this game are PAINFUL.

If you use gold to buy the village center upgrade you can have it make six of a single resource at once but that seems to be as good as it gets.

Oh man, I totally feel like a mug. Either I have terrible luck to score 200 prestige from the quarter master three times in a row.... or this is completely and totally rigged.

I feel a lot of these "talk options" are far too black and white.
What bothers me a bit is that a lot of the "old ways" or "cunning" bonus options are universally "evil" or "harsh" with no room for anything else. you either sugercoat it completely or slap them in the face.
As in, someone mourns their wife "Get over it" or "oooh poor baby" there is no middle ground and even in the books you can still worship the seven and tell people to suck it in.
And cunning is useful in many situations, doesn't mean it is evil - for example, how is it *cunning* to order your handmaid whipped for presumably stealing something?
I mean, come on.
There are ways to say "get over it" without being insensitive about it "put your feelings aside and act your age " or something instead of just "lets talk about this, you need to understand ------ "
Just food for thought, A Song of Ice and Fire with its universe is the perfect example of not everything being set in stone regardless.

Hello, I want one fish. Hello, I want one fish. Hello, I want one fish. Hello, I want one fish ... if this seems too repetitive to you, don't even try the game.

Now that I get enough silver to afford decent equipment the Gear shop no longer generates any random equipment. Leveling doesn't help, so I guess spending gold to refresh the shop is the only way to see new stuff. So lame... sorry GoT but it's onto the next game for me.

I understand the logic behind not being able to forge a master greatsword in 5 seconds, but seriously, who wants to wait a day for ONE sword in a flash game. Atleast tone it down to 30 minutes-1 hour or so, would be an overall improvement.

Go, my small army of sworn swords! And for heaven's sakes you had better bring me back some meaningful Braavos loot or I swear I'll exile the lot of you.

Oh, and leaving XML entities like ' all over the place instead of just using a standard apostrophe shows that you didn't even bother testing your game.

I wish I could exchange silver for gold, the rate for buying them is 1000silver for 1 gold or something so it would be hard to get still

I love how I can send out 10 Swords on adventures, each with a 90% chance to win but still have four or five of them lose. What gives?

I've played this game for a while now and I'm really into it, the story plots and so on, It got me more interested especially following the TV series, but one thing is confusing is about the castle and background. Just a suggestion, why not make the castle and let's say the background based on the fealty you choose. Because currently it seems that even if you choose either a lannister or baratheon or any other houses. It seems that the castle that we have belongs to the North and the starks alone. Let's say we choose Martell, shouldn't the background be a desert? or if Tyrell should be greenfields and etc.. Just a suggestion though, good work and love the game!

These "games" are the worst. This kind of "time management" is such BS. I hate that this is a genre. The developers of these money-grabs should feel ashamed.

I wish that you could know what such and such ability or "benefit" was by mousing over. It made things like picking my house loyalty a little difficult since I didn't really know what I was getting myself into except from the flowery description...

Just an idea: Why not give players the option to choose their sworn sword names, just like your main character. Like, you can alter it once or keep the random generated one. Nothing major, just something I was wanting to do for a long time.

woooow i need to wait 2 bloody hours before i get my pvp result, 1/5; this killed my last bit of patience for this game

"Would you consider a small gold price reasonable for this type of action?"
Seriously? The biggest problem in this game is how pay-to-win is the main focus. The second biggest problem is how you need to micromanage it every ten minutes. I think making the huge problem bigger is a pretty bad way to fix the small problem.

Since the developer cites realism as the reason for the long waits...it would be more real if you could send more than one sworn sword on a mission. When your castle is under seige, you wouldn't send just 1 person when you have 7 available. They could team up Avengers style. Would make the boss battles more tolerable too.

Dear DISRUPTORBEAM Developers:
Are you EVER going to give us the Rona Grey/Player Character romance option? People have been suggesting it forever, and yet you just turn a deaf ear to your fans. For a so-called strategy game, it's bad enough that our choice selections seldom have any actual bearing on the storyline (aside from choosing an heir), so you could at least give us that Rona sub-plot to tide us over until Season 8 starts.

This game is not a free game but really a pay to play. If this game is free then Call of Duty is too. At least when I give them $50 for the game they don't charge me to for EVERYTHING in it over and over and over I think you all get the point.....

yesterday = 31 gold
today = 26 gold
wtf?? i haven't bought anything! one more reason not to spend real money in this game... if i do so, it's possible i'll lose my bought gold coins for no apparent reason

For those having issues with bugs such as quest windows being unresponsive, and various buttons not working: Try switching your browser to Chrome. That helped me get past some major issues with this crap game.
by the way, Shame on you Kongregate for giving this game badges. Your standards are usually Above reproach.

And I thought that Kong was changing when the last challenge game wasn't even an MMO. Then you decide to host this challenge on a p2w game like this. Back to square one it is.

very well done, love how it mirrors the books but still maintains a storyline of its own. Can't wait for the long night!

Suggestion : After making the brew house 5/5 the player should choose if he/she wants to produce 1 , 2 , 3 , 4 , or 5 of the same item instead of being forced to produce 5 of the same item

I'm disappointed. The affiliate pack offer has expired a whole half hour after Kong sent out the email about it. What kind of promotion is THAT?

If I have to hit Ctrl-minus to see your frigging huge-ass window, you're doing it wrong. If I do it twice, STILL can't show the whole thing, and most of the screen space is unused, you're doing it REALLY wrong. And if, on top of that, your game is a glorified menu screen but runs slower than action titles, you're just a terrible developer. That's not even getting into how fun the game itself is (hint: it isn't).
Thank you for the feedback on the game, we're sorry you're having this issue. If you need our help directly, please contact us through http://support.disruptorbeam.com. This will do two things - it will make sure your issue gets logged into our support numbers and that you're helped a lot sooner. Thanks for understanding!

This game suffers from an unintuitive user interface, the still uncorrected bugged time cooldowns, and the consistently ubiquitous implementation of micro-transactions found in just about every online multiplayer games nowadays; which when the game is bad or unenjoyable, is a warning sign that reads "stay away."

Game developers: If you want to entice people into possibly paying for premium content, making casual players wait 20 minutes for a quest to finish or an hour for the production of a game-essential item is not the way to go about it.
I love Game of Thrones, and I tried to like this game, but the amount of entertainment it delivers isn't even close to the time investment one must make.

these "games" are such a chore, like that guy said it's a "wait forever and pay to go faster" mechanic
it is addictive in a way tho (played this for 3 days straight before getting bored) so there is a lesson to take from this, but it is a really disgusting way of making a "game"
