Another Tip: Don't spend your first gem.. it takes awhile to get the first one, and then the rest come 1 a turn after that. I recommend always having one until the very end. Which is when I usually throw in a heal so I don't have to use my food.

3 Pinocchios and 3 Normal dragons, and you will just whizz right through the game. Dragons get an extra actiion at level 50, dealing 14 damage in 2 hits. Go up the left side at the start and get the fire power ups, and they will get a counter bonus which makes them hard to hurt. Also get the extra attack for the pinnochio's...
You'll destroy everyone in a couple turns.
My middle up front pinocchio effectively puts out 36 damage and the two side ones put out 24 damage in the first turn. The two dragons in the back can put out 14 each.. so in the first turn I'm putting out..
38 - 50 - 38 Damage to the front row.
Can't wait to see what power ups I've missed, it's only going to make it easier.

i think the game was a missed swing. the game itself was boring, the level sytem stunk, and the AI would seem to pick one of my units and only attack that single creatureso that i would have all level 30 creatures except one level 2 the whole way through. i dont mean to sound like an angry person but i really found it very lazy of you to only have the creatures gain 1 to any stat every 5-6 levels, and they lose a level if they die? you sir have wasted my time

This game needs a massive MONEY boost. The fights scale up too quickly to keep up with the costs of food and resurrections.

maxed animals and only 4 castles beaten...thats 3 maps still to go! ahhh thts like 25+battles left, plus the trip back to the summit map which could be 10-20 more battles, then the summit and who knows how many battles thts gonna be after! this game takes forevrrrr

Huh. Such a good foundation for a game - you can tell that a lot of effort went into it. I really try to like it. However, it has two features which used to be the norm for RPGs that have rapidly fallen into disfavor - and for good reason, they kill your fun - death penalty delevelling and randomized beginning stats (in this case monsters). Is the game still enjoyable? Yeah, but not as much as it could have been.

The only thing accomplished, with the level loss mechanic, is making my front-row attackers consistently lower in level than my back rank. I doubt that's what was intended.

Put three spread attackers in the front, two range attackers in the back, and one random attacker in the back, and this game is a breeze.

I really don't understand the people complaining about this game being too hard. Put three close-range guys in the front, three long range guys in the back, and it's easy.

and how are you ever supposed to buy these expensive upgrades, like the health boost? All your points are spent on revivers and food just to get from on fight to the next.

even so i started with some of the best animals available, and I still get my ass handed to me every other fight, and dont have a chance against the castle.

How is this game supposed to be beaten?? I can't get past the first castle, it needs a way to actually CHOOSE your animals, not just get them at complete random!

Fun game :D, I love my team of 6 cobras, bring enemies down to low life and cast the lvl 3 shadow spell that brings all my guys back and then I slaughter them :D

I have found that the best combo to use for very quick progress after you start gaining money, to buy randomizer points, has to be Three Trikes up in front, and Three Gold Dragons in back. Once they all reach level 50, you will be able to come up of every battle without having to heal, even more so if you buy the Increased Auto Heal for 150.

The game is fun but pretty simplistic - not sure what the 'moderate learning curve' was. Once you reach higher levels (35+) the opponent's lack of strategy makes the game very easy. Still, I had fun. 4/5

My killer pack:
Trike - Cyclops - Battering Ram
Gold-Dragon x3
I have +power for Brutes, so dragons make 9x2 damage, then cyclops hits usually killing 1-2 or the whole first row, then trike and battering ram kill or heavy damage left and right creatures from the second row. Then enemy make a couple of hits and then i usually kill the ones who are still alive.
Game 5/5
