The one thing that makes Chronicles of Blood unique from all
other multiplayer games? The PvP can be disabled. Brilliant. :)

shout out to those pve'ers with pvp enabled... the following message are for you guys
*cheers to you* TY for having pvp enabled as a pve'er and a non-donator.
It helps other non-donators to actually have a chance to compete in pvp. Thank You.

I really wish that everything in this game that you cannot trade away was made disenchantable, even if only for very low amounts of rubies.

This is it. This is, hands down, the most pitiful excuse for a game I have ever seen on Kongregate. And believe me, that's saying a lot. There are PLENTY of games that are play-to-win, but most of them do an at least minimal job trying to hide the fact to try and get you addicted to it first. Not with this festering turd of a game. First thing you learn is that you are going to get your ass handed to you even on the tutorial levels unless you spend, spend, SPEND! Put this game on a CD and shove it back from whence you pulled it.

The CoB wiki seems to be down. I keep getting this Database error:
A database query syntax error has occurred. This may indicate a bug in the software. The last attempted database query was:
(SQL query hidden)
from within function "SqlBagOStuff::get". Database returned error "145: Table './cobwiki/objectcache' is marked as crashed and should be repaired (localhost)".
This error occurs on all pages. I put in a request thru the CoB wiki spreadsheets to have this error fixed about a week ago but the wiki is still down. Hoping this comment will attract attention to whoever can fix this error. Cheers.

I had this game 2 years ago on my Facebook. It's the typical point and click menu based game (think Vampire/Mafia Wars). Good thing: Nice graphics. Bad thing: Like most of its genre, it quickly start to feel repetitive/tedious. If you already played Vampire Wars, it's pretty much the same.

Bones ? I'm drowing in bones. Nothing uses them in the sort of quantity I've amassed them.. Fel leather on the hand...

The word "fresh" was used twice in Kongregate's description of this game. Considering it takes place mainly in a graveyard, that MUST be a bad sign!

theres a waepon named after faith lehane, so this is my new favorite game...really...i love everyone who is lovin faith

The one game that doesnt need constant attention, gets doomed by there being no one fixing the big problems that occur

The pve/pvb talents are meant to be slowly build up midgame...the pvp talents are fairly easy to obtain. The buffs and debuffs can be checked by mousing over the small icons next to them, or checking the wiki

@Shadogun: There are already mouse over descriptions for the buffs and curses. I dont see your problem. example: berserk - mouse over description: chance to deal extra physical damage. If the mouse over description isnt enough for you, there is also a wiki. just go on the ?-icon and then click on wiki.

@gansebom true, that's very unlucky but i've been the reverse. I've had a long streak of NOT getting a lot of items, but getting essentially everything i needed (skipping a lot of stuff every 20 levels or so but getting the really rare drops first time around). It's great when you get the item at the min req but where's the fun in that? Most items i get way after the min req and they're still usable anyway

I think considering most of us get 100% or over on our boss raid and cbr's we should get 12bbs for hitting 100% and an additional 2 badges per 25% after the 12hour mark. Not asking for like quadruple loot chances just asking for a little extra :)

@vampire1408
Yes, let's plan ahead and "try" to grab the loot possible for ONE item that takes 15 levels in advanced to get, then what d you do? try to plan another 15 levels out of crafting items for one more item? So, a this rate (completely in theory not actual statistics)...100 levels...lets even give it a fair chance, 10 levels to craft anything actually WORTH crafting, hm...you get 10 items by max level without having to donate money. To me it seems a bit tedious of having to out level every thing before you can get it. Now, don't get me wrong i do like these grinding games but i enjoy grinding with a fairly reasonable reward. Even some of the Blood Sapphire items i see will be useless by the time i can aquire that amount of Rubies to turn into Sapphires.

Theese vampires today *sigh*, not only do they empty your vains for blood, now they wanna suck your wallet dry aswell... 100 bucks for a picture of a friggen horse, id get to the ride a pony to hell and back for a price like that and i might even call it a demon steed aswell.

the market is credits (its not the same kreds, you can get credits by fighting) btw you have 3 free refill bloodlust potions to complete the challange more then enough to do it. I know things can be hard to undertsand but hey you got a chatroom ask.

Though i have to admit that I'm a little curious to what monsters i can encounter in the different map areas (for instance "crashed spaceship"). The game might have been slightly good if it didn't crave for money!

There is a new Guild in town - The Antediluvians - we are all active players. Other guilds may look larger because the have more members, but many of those members haven't played for days, weeks, months ... a year.... THE ANTEDILUVIANS ARE ACTIVE - all members have been active within the last 10 days, most within the last 24 hours. We have lots of Coven Bosses at all levels. We fight shoulder to shoulder - all levels welcome. Send us a request to join

Round 1: Specter gained escape. Apparently this creature was to strong for you and you must admit defeat. You lost no blood. We didn't even attack each other yet! How did I lose when he ran?

This is the most random, pull-them-out-of-yer-own-arse-numbers combat system I've ever seen. That and the entire rest of the game is a really bad cashgrab. 0/10 would not play again.

Slow going so far (lower levels) but optimistic. May want to tweak a few things to keep lower level players active :)

@joelw While it is true that you are not forced to scrap things, holding on to old equipment is pointless, too, isn´t it? I´ll be glad to not have clutter in my inventory any more.
By the way: I´m very glad the ghouls are being reconsidered. I´m pretty neutral about voidspawn. Liked it before, like it now, too. Even though I generally think this game does not need to have any artwork replaced.

@r2d2go. I agree with you that you need to play at least once every 3-4 hours for max growth; but even playing twice a day (in the morning and after coming back from work) is enough to make significant progress; besides, you can proceed at your own pace. Agree with you about how powerful donation items early game are; but remember that all of them are designed with the late game in mind which means that they have to be godlike early game. In terms of power, most of the best stuff is from playing the game itself, not donating (with the possible exception of servants, some accessories, and mount - although there are mounts for pvb that are far stronger than anything from donating)
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
Dull, repetitive, and one of the worst-designed interfaces I've seen in a while... (I can't compare items to the ones I have equipped? I need to click Close in combat to access most of the menus? the ginormous game window is cluttered with huge objects placed in random locations? counter-intuitive placement of things - e.g. instead of having one merchant that sells everything, you have Merchant for equipment but Coraline for bait, which took a while to figure out, etc, etc)
