There is a bug on level 2,where if you get killed by a boss, when you revive the bos instantly dies (bug) but it doesn't count as a kill, thus making a hard badge impossible.

Is it just me, or do the controls to this game seem to be ridiculously difficult. Srsly, I've played this game before, and it was never this bad. Sometimes, when you give it a command, it will get stuck and continually do that action (e.g. attacking continually or walking forward) and other times it straight up refuses to do anything you ask it too. As I said before, I've played this on other sites. It's not usually like this. I'm not sure if Kongregate's version of the game is faulty or whatever, but something's gotta be fixed. This kinda sucks.

one small problem achilies was greek so he would be battling the trojans he wouldn't be battling other greek people because he himself was greek

A game where the medium badge is harder than the hard! ha! Quick strategy for survival: 1) for spearman, archers, kill them right away with your sword (blocking arrows if necessary). A fast kill on these guys is necessary so you won't get ganged by the swordsmen who always seem to hang out behind the archers and spearmen. 2) for swordsmen, kick them (long-range kicks seem to do the most damage, too) until they have low-ish health and then kill them with sword. If another enemy comes onscreen while you are kicking them, go for the kill with the sword. Two swordsmen together can just about kill you = what you definitely don't want. Hope this helps!

if you kick an enemy in the leg and it breaks IT SHOULD STOP ANY ATTACK MIDPROCESS its dumb that the bosses that run and attack at the same time cannot be interupted

great game but the weapon selection seriously needs more to it i mean just only sword and spear? u should add more weapons like longswords or axes and stuff and have the enemies carry them. Then once u kill the enemy u cud pik up tht weapon. and one more thing why the hell cant u pik up the bow and arrow? i mean seriously u could put ur sword in a sheath and carry ur shield on hand so u could shoot at least one arrow with the bow. anyways good game still.

i have to say its a great game but i hate it when archers can just shoot you when they arent on the screen so you automatically take damage

chopped the head of a archer in survival, he fires arrows at me like a machinegun, couldnt hit or lower shield.... bug?

So.... my laptop is really f**ked up so it randomly mskes him walk around and attack and I honest to God killed the first boss with no hands o_O

wtf i had a save with 2 lives and 122 kills at lvl 5, after i died and started from lvl 5 it says i still have 121 kills? as if i did not kill lvl 2 boss. this sucks :(

great game... as long as your only fighting one person, bc the second that theirs two people, you instantly lose forever 4/5

It is easy game. All you have to do is to decapitate, kick bosses around and when something goes wrong and enemy aren't decapitated then just kick him and make him lose his head ^^ Also don't think that in survival to get the badge you ony have to kill 20 every life, because you might have been killed with 95 or 98 kills :/

By searching wikipedia and browsing on and on and on I went from Achilles to finding out about Blue Bananas in Europe.

Made it to the last boss without losing a life, then won the final battle with 4 lives left.
1: Always keep moving in right. It reduces the chance you fight more than one guy at a time.
2: For Archers, block each arrow shot as you approach then start hacking when you get there. Everyone else, just walk up and start hacking. I generally did forward + attack then just tapped attack over and over. The combos sometimes screw you up. Jumping is generally a bad idea, kind of random.
3: If you find a spear, throw it at the next guy. If extra spears drop, make sure to stick around and use them too. They're a free kill.
4: First four bosses, kick them, then tap attack, then repeat. If you just kick, it takes longer and you're more likely to make a mistake.
5: For the last boss, try to move away as you attack to stay at the right distance. When you die, maintain distance and slash as much as you can while you're invincible.
This made the hard badge very quick. Hope it helps.

procyonpi's guide made the boss sound like some horrible overpowered monster but he was dead easy and it only took me one extra life to kill him.. Just constantly rush him getting hit and eventually he dies..

My memory of high school mythology is a bit shaky...but wasn't Achilles the one whose only weakness was his heel? The only way to kill him was to hurt his heel? Hence the term 'Achilles Heel'? So explain to me how it is Achilles can be killed by an arrow to the chest?
