Strategy for a quick win: Pick undead, save 1300 to purchase the flailer, upgrade speed, attack down a single column and send a charge of flailers when available. While many other strategies suggest spamming many weaker units such as spearman or halberdiers... DONT. The problem with doing so becomes very apparrent when your opponent begins sending relentless charges. More units means more deaths, more deaths means more frequent charges by you opponent. Trust me flailers are golden and look terrifying to boot.

I love how when you beat the game using the night elves it says "After years of fighting, the night elves conquered the land, brining with them an endless night which lasted for many years." lol if it was an endless night it would be endless, not just last many years.

Best strategy: Choose undead (Huge halberd bonus) Spend most upgrades on halberds, armor and speed. For the battlefield, send all halberds in one line. When you can charge, use halberds.

The best you can do about the Demons is invest in your spearmen and send all your spearmen in the same line:Unstoppable! Only works on Demons, evn if Demons are going into different lanes if you hold the spacebar down and trigger the spearmen you will win!

MY GAME WASN'T SAVE AFTER TURNING OFF THE COMPUTER AND TURNING IT BACK ON. Hope the game can save data for a long time.

A little tip if anyone needs it:
If you find yourself staring down a superior opponent infantry wise, outflank them! I was fighting against the mountain trolls early, so I don't have to fight them with there giant troll. Sure enough, there last bit of territory had a giant troll. I thought: "Whatever I throw at him, he kills in one swing!" Light bulb..."I won't even ATTEMPT to kill him. I'll just throw wave after wave of scouts at exposed pass ways!" Guess who doesn't have to worry about them now?

@dankvart The problem is that you've spread your upgrades out. The way to win is to upgrade a single unit, preferably the most powerful one, and spam it like crazy. Axe Throwers, King's Guard, Flailers, etc. Also, make sure you attack the harder areas first, before they get pumped up to that 100% difficulty.

soo, what's the deal, I have only human alliance capital left, it says 100% difficulty, but their spearmen easily kill my swordsmen (4 armor 5 swordsmanship)! oh right, and their swordsmen easily kill my longswordsmen.. did I also mention that their halberdier sometimes approaches and kills my mage before getting killed himself? not to say about him tearing apart all my mounted units of course.. sounds like real balance!

Lol the best races you ccan choose [at the start] are the Human Allience, the Undead and the troll people XD the demons are OK[you get them at the end : ] ]

heres a challenge, try beating this game without buying any new units, just keep upgrading the three u get at the beginning. ps. the first warlords is better then the second

did you know that scouts are epic? if you send massive amounts of troops down the middle, the scouts can get through for a free win
