Something worth mentioning. ENEMIES RESPAWN AFTER MOVING ENOUGH DISTANCE IN ANY DIRECTION, FORWARD OR BACKWARDS. This can be taken advantage of when you have a lot of health, or the enemies are weak and incompetent

If you cut of the head of a chicken, it may still run for a while. If you cut of the head of a spearman/swordsman/archer, they'll perform the attack they were preparing, and die only after that. Fighting for the last breath is a bit too literal in this case...

i think you should be able to fire henchmen instead of having to let them die, i left a archer with 3 spearmen and he only lost about 40% of his hp, basicly

when playing as Ellder there is a way to get three other people to help. right when you're about to enter the wood elves main place. you hire two spear men(because they are cheap, but they do a good job) and then make sure they survive the wood elf boss fight. after you kill the first boss the wood elf king comes in your group, and if your two spear men survive you get four to help you on your way and for me they stayed all the to the end...... useful tip: don't buy all the fighting moves because when you want to do a move, the guy will just do a move that you don't want...... For Ellder. first buy inverse whirl. then thrusting forward whirl. then, backflip thrust. and maybe knee stamp(i survive quiet easily with just these moves). then use the rest of the money you get for armor. one more thing, some moves need timing... hope this helps (anyone playing as Ellder).

It would be REAL AWESOME if Gladiator Mode was Online.You would be able to fight other people and earn EXP and Level Up and buy Armor.It would be Great.I hope that in the next Warlords Heroes you can play Gladiator Mode Online.

@dauminator Health regeneration would make it too easy you could just block the enemies attacks while your health regenerates...an option to buy food to heal you while on a mission would be good.

Alright, so gladiator mode, in my opinion, is best with Toldor. The hardest opponents for him: The swordsman, you have to back up and try to slice the swordsman, and pray he won't reach you in a shield charge. The other longswordsman are perhaps the most dangerous. You have to shield yourself, cuz apparently in later levels your damage and their health dies out. Attack when yous see he's vulnerable, such as after doing the running thrust. Finally there's the halberd. He is fairly easy to kill once you get the trick down: shield yourself until he charges past you, then kick him and swipe, and quickly shield yourself again.

Great ideas for a #2. A campaign for EVERY race to get a perspective in the whole situation. giving henchmen armor like trivius has said definetly, special scenes in the game where a henchman saves you a life or getss you money. Definatley a multiplayer would work, from mastergamer87, and also, make your own hero, like a demon twirler or a elf javilan thrower! great game i give it 5 stars

been a long time since i played, because i don't like the way the skills work: nearly all of Aldon's skills are "forward+attack"-which means you can't control WHICH ONE HE USES! i try to use his one attack that involves blocking with his shield and he uses a different attack-and dies as a direct result! and the "all skills unlocked" gimmic in gladiator mode makes this even worse!

You cannot enable cheats to earn this badge, but you can use a bug to earn it. Yup that you can totally do. __To get the impossible badge play a level, get 13 or more kills, finish the level, return to main menu, go into gladiator mode, right click any picture and click forward then die in any level.

to get the hard badge, try to keep your two partners well alive till you get till demon king. but if you don't it's still okay. to kill the demon king, position yourself close to him and repeat this pattern: Jump > Mid-air Stab > Mid-air Stab (repeat)

I like how any constructive criticism gets shot/voted down viciously. God forbid there might actually be problems with a game. Here's mine:
The art and story are actually really good, but once you get into the actual gameplay of it, the art design takes a HARD dive. The backgrounds are great but good god, the actual players, henchmen, and enemies look completely stupid. Also, when you kill mounted anythings, I thought the way the horse just suddenly stops cold in it's tracks and just stands there looked retarded. The reason I bring all this up is because what could have otherwise felt like an epic battle as you hack and slash (woodenly might I add, because the actual gameplay felt so stiff and clunky), ends up feeling like a t-key mashing guantlet. Played it for the badge, played a little more to see if there was anything else, but the short comings end up cheapening the gaming experience. Sorry. 2/5. Let the down voting / brown nosing begin.

I but followers to protect myself, not to protect them! They go like stupid kids after the enemy, and I always have to get back! I was at the end of a level, with both allies, then the next 4 enemies came from behind, so they couldn`t let me finish, and both died, I lost 3 lives until i finished the level because they are stupid and can`t wait for the enemy to come!

When I was playing, I played as the elf and when I entered dead palmes and won it, I then bought a magus (mage). and at the camp fire, his head went mad!

i find it amusing how the enemy can throw one last hit after their heads been decapitated. So far the first episode character has the best weapon and moves. I'm on the third episode now. Great power but not so great specials
