Truly an amazing game. It captures the spirit of '404' greatly, and the protagonist File Or Directory is lovable, in the land of Not Found.

Sad to see how this game died. I played in June with lots of people, then a few weeks later nobody was on. I see now it has degraded to an even more depressing state. At this point, it just looks bad on the devs part for throwing up a cash cow and abandoning it after a few updates.

sometimes when i start a battle, the game freezes and i have to restart. its annoying because everyone in the band that was going to fight now has 0 health and it wastes my resources

Yikes, logged on this afternoon to find myself and one other person in chat. Let's rate Warband up so more people can find it!

Two suggestions...include a return to camp option along with the others on the left and automatically begin healing once a warband is garrisoned. That is all...I hope you consider these suggestions.

Me and RTS games never go hand-in-hand. Not that there's any problems with it, I just wouldn't buy it an ice cream cone and call it my best friend. But Warband makes me take a quick glance at the genre. It doesn't really implement any groundbreaking ideas, but, that being said, Warband's a tactful, responsive multiplayer RTS. It's all the standard RTS stuff: Build up your camp, which requires painstaking patience (or you can waste money on coins); train groups of units, or warbands, with better gear and skills; go out and obliterate some random players and AI's, which you can pick between auto or manual combat; all the while gaining resources by collecting from producers or raiding so that you can train more units, raid more camps, and make more players hate you. You can even call truces with players, or even join or invite to alliances. Top that with above-standard graphics, some annoyingly pleasant loop music, and a high scores board for bragging rights, and you've got Warband. 4/5

i think it has potential, still a few things to work on but over all pretty great. 1 thing is the alliance thing, yea you can create one, but idk if its just me or is there not a place to view all the alliances? if not well there needs to be one and if so someone please show me where. another thing, upgrading your units should be made a tad easier. like idk an EXP based way maybe? as each of your warbands fight battles they should gain EXP, leveling them up, making them slightly stronger in general. as well i think that each of there upgrades you can buy should up there strength some as well instead of just adding a new "trick" to them. and to sum it up maybe adding in a few more quests or something? something more than just fighting goblins and pillaging enemy castles. but other than that, so far so good :D

I was foolish enough to pay these guys, hoping that the unit upgrades would be worthwhile enough to make the game more fun to play. Imagine my chagrin when I take my freshly minted units out, only to suffer defeat and find that they now take 45 minutes to heal. I guess I have a different philosophy about gameplay in that I assumed paying the developer would grant me some advantage rather than punishment for my advancement. I guess you think that your game is fun enough to keep me throwing money at it like an addict. Instead I'm walking away.

There seems to be a bug that you cant select the warband once you have deployed them because they are inside the castle and cannot seem to move around the world map. shame, because graphically it looks good, although the pay to play thing is getting old. now
