If you plan to make a sequel I would recommend adding new colors, the ability to summon or revive cars, different road layouts (Dirt, gravel etc.) maybe allowing us to customize the cars (different designs, add details, maybe even weapons that the cars can use.) and more things you can drop on the road (mines, tire spikes, roadblocks, other cars.)

Considering that this version will not be updated perhaps you would be willing to change the title to You Are The Road Demo or just make another one with You Are The Road II?
Badges that could be added to this version though without updates could be a Zen Path badge or Road of Peace something; earned by getting 5 cars up to 65mph, Devil's Road of killing all cars by 40mph. Or goofy stuff like 250 car turn overs in a single game or something like Cube Runner of placing 1000 boxes hit in a single game. +

This game is hilarious. Personally, I love that you didn't force any specific goals onto the player -- our creativity is what makes it fun.

If a sequel will arrive, I want some extras: adjustable speed increase, adjustable mouse sensitivity, different cars (maybe vehicles), more AI cars and night mode. I know this is a lot of extras, and i know it was a game made in 48 hours, but it would make the game great!

I have to disagree with you about it not being in the spirit of the competition to expand your game. Some of the best flash games I've ever played were initially made in 48 hours---then fully fleshed out later. I mean, it's not like you're trying to enter the fleshed out version into the contest. Still, it's your game, so I guess you can do whatever you want with it.

Evolving A.I
This would only really work in tourney mode.
My idea is that every car would have 1 - 5 stats, strength, speed, etc whatever you would want to add.
Then after each match they would get a certain amount of skill points to put in, and the would put them in depending on what served them best in the previous races and what they the individual cars felt they needed.
So a long tourney would eventually lead to each car being different from the others, and perhaps have that effect what moods they're prone too.

Fastest way to kill all cars that I've found: Slight upward turn, followed by a sharp downward turn in the other direction.

hey dude. quick question but even though you want to keep it the same for the spirit of the event is there a chance you could make a second? that way this game stays the same and you can make changes in the second one. mainly because i think you have a great money making opportunity and everyone including me wants this to be extended. and who knows the next one could be the next turbo dismount. so could you please make a second.

Not the kinda game that you can play for hours upon hours, but for a short spurt it's hands down the most fun I've had with a racing game. Not too often have I burst out laughing to such a simple concept. If it was a full scale racing game with more options for the road player, with other players as the racers, this would be awesome.

Suggestion - stats would be good. Would be interesting to see how many times each car has been last one standing/first to die.

This could be an awesome multiplayer game!!! Say, you could make rooms, or "highways" for players to play in, and when the room begins a session, it goes through all the players, randomly choosing who goes next, but making sure the person it chooses hasn't gone already, unless everybody has gone 1. Then, the person who is chosen to be the road becomes Hell on Earth (if you want to, you could also be a pleasant drive :3) for the other players, who must drive through the course that the player who is the road is making :D

This is awesome. I've asked myself the same question but never thought it in this aspect. Also, I feel it would be amazing to have a multiplayer and one person is chosen to be the 'road', and the others 'drivers'.

You should be able to chuck down more hazards, and the cars should have "peresonalities", i.e. the red car is more aggressive, the blue one will actively move to get out of the way, the yellow one will "draft" (stay close behind) another one, as well as the ability to (cosmetically) change what kind of road they're on (like, say, have them go from being on a paved racecourse to a dirt road to a street with sidewalks), and various other tidbits.
But as it is at present, it's a fun game.
