What a fantastic game. I really feel the pain when I fail to prepare adequately for an attacking horde and I watch my trusting companions turn as my defenses fail.

This is the only game that can kill half an hour on just one of an endless supply of maps- and without becoming overly tedious.

I've probably played this game more than I've slept since it was released and I'm JUST now realizing that the character with a shotgun (loading screen) was never in the game.

Good grief. I just saw this and realised I hadn't rated it. This is hands-down one of the best single-player strategy games I've ever seen, and I've been playing them for 40 years. I played this to death and then played with it more. Tense, exciting, with resource management too. It's a no-brainer 5/5.

For map editor, I want to be able to make the intro statement, not the same 'ol narraration every time. Ex. I have a pretty big island and all the action is going in the middle, you should be able to say "Keep the core safe at all costs! It is under attack by...etc. Instead of the player losing before he/she even knows why. and sing the following example, one should be able to place where the camera starts too, like where the base is, or where the bridge is, or where the large mob is. Otherwise.... "Oh wait. There's a lot red dots on the minimap. that might be tough. And green dots - in the same place??? Oh @#$%!".
(+) is you agree!

I strongly disagree with those who say that buildings should generate zombies, instead of using up their "zombie supplies". This game follows the traditional zombie movie idea, i.e. humans turn into zombies. Therefore, the number of zombies in a house depends of how many

i made auriga squad and uploaded it look at it. its a novice map, but hard for 29 zombies unless for 4 snipers and. bridge is very far, though right next to you now. die!
:) go see this map!

I created this map, for anyone who is up for a deceptive challenge. I needed ten tries to figure out how to beat it. Once you strategize nooks and crannies, you are in for the win.

Ok seriously. I've tried everything to get my survivors to keep the front lines well stocked and they always seem to be too retarded. I have over 100 ammo in every depot (only 10 in the quota). 26 free survivors. Front line has a quota of 60 ammo. Runs out. EVERY TIME.

"Send more ammo to the front lines at once!" "But sir, my legs are tired." "The zombies are about to tear through, send the ammo to our snipers!!" "Nah I think I'm gonna walk around the block with the ammo in my hands, then I'll suddenly turn around and wander aimlessly through the alleys."

Coming soon.. part 2. Zombie's can't swim but they don't breathe either. Good luck blowing up the shoreline. Shattered Colony: No Survivors.

i forgot howto place building in map editor :( make a post howto build buildings via map editor. till then, ill play other games

You should make Shattered colony multiplayer like one player collect supplies while one mans the sniper tower. You should name it Shattered colony: United

2.) have units you get along the way like special characters, or re-made tech. for example, supply trucks, gunner jeeps, suicide bombers. 3.) increase zombie spawn, have them climbing out of man-holes, storm drains, THE GROUND, killed humans spawn a zombies. 4.) develop two different options: Story and Sandbox. 5.) would like to see more types of supplies, like food. 6.) include inland bridges that when destroyed force the zed to go a different, longer route.///// I hope this sparks some inspiration for the designer as well as fans.

my personal opinions but would really like if the developer and others would listen to these and agree/disagree, and maybe add to a sequel... 1.) u need way more types of units. for example, u already have snipers, just make them slower firing, longer range, and ability to pierce multiple. throw in shotgunners- short range, but large spread. assault rifles- medium range with decent fire rate. LMG- like assault rifles, just with wider spread. mortars- long range, massive damage including splash damage, etc.

If you get a zombie that attacks a barrier and gets stuck you just spread over the map without the time going and win, to easy

expert is to easy 1 tower 3 bricks are enough ...
quartermaster is to difficult 3 towers (11ppls) and 18 bricks canĀ“t stop them ...

Is there going to be another version or a level pack or even better a level creation pack and a way to share user content? I think you really need that because I play a lot of these dumb little flash games, i really enjoy them and honestly this is one of the best damned flash games I've ever played but I ran out of gameplay like a year ago. It has everything I love, upgrades, resources, and more without being an irritating cash grab.

One of My favorite Games here. I just wish I could get a more accurate reading in the resource windows. I can think of at least two maps where I actually had more survivors available than the counter said I did.

My god the AI is dumb. My survivors teleport outside barricades and take a minute to stop and comprehend their orders.
