awesome game. i think i'v played it five times all the way through since i found it. did you know that if you put a bird in your mouth, it will make you fly? you cant control it though, so it's best to keep tethered down with web. the bird in level two is how you get to the floating island at the top, which has a larvae on it. anyways, love the game, triachnid 2 would hopefully be awesome as well. XD

A really good game the legs are sometimes still twitchy but with physics based stuff like this finding the right adjustment and finetunings can be quite difficult to near impossible, so really good work.
Hmm an evolution simulation with those spiders would be nice, you know movement patterns combined with different leg parameters(elasticity, stiffness etc)

No wonder the spider is endangered xD so much right with this game yet so much let down due to a slooooooooow and annoying control system, web's are a pain in the rear and even the lovely soothing music can't help but stop me from thinking, this is irritating
needs a LOT of work but is a very unique and brilliant concept

This game is pure art! Game 47 on this site, and I don't even know what to say other than the music is reason enough to play this game!

I've loved this game since it first came out, and coming back to play it after a long enough while makes it wonderfully fresh again. Getting people to identify with such an inhuman creature should've been a lot more difficult, but brilliant character design and backstory go a long way... One of the fantastic elements I'd forgotten about was the alien language that's almost the only in-game text -- that really helps reinforce the strangeness of the tri-achnid and its world. It really boggles my mind that this game doesn't have badges, though; it seems like the kind of game that normally gets them, and certainly it would get the 100k+ plays it deserves if it had them. I suppose maybe it's an API issue, but not being a programmer myself, I can only guess. The controls are a pain and a half with a laptop trackpad, but it's not like I don't have the option of plugging in a USB mouse, so that's on me. Thank you for this fascinating visit to a deeply alien world, Edmund.

This game has good graphics and idea for a flash game, but using the mouse to drag each limb makes this game too slow paces. I just game up on the game. It's boring and repetitive. I give it a 2/5, because it is an interesting concept with good art.

ok in level 2 if you are wondering why theres a bird its coz u gotta trap him and keep him in your mouth and then fly up and then dont miss the platform thats up the map and then when you do that let him free and then go up the platform and then youll see the baby spider [+] please i did hard work for that

it's a rather bizar but unsurprising irony that what's doubtlessly the best game on kongregate has such low rating, while the most boring stock tower defense games have the highest ratings.

Awesome game, hope there is a sequel and made me think abit more about spiders (arachnidphobia) and realise that not ALL are dangerous (but then figuring out which ones aren't is going to a challenge all on its own)

Was good until my legs got stuck offscreen, then my only option was to start the whole game over. That needs to get fixed.

Arg. Interesting game, nice atmosphere. Got frustrated with the controls and even more with damage and death for no apparent reason.

I love this game! It's VERY dramatic. On my first time I didn't know where to go, but now it's awesome!!!!!!!!!!! I hope there is going to be a part 2!! 8)

how do you pick up the egg sack?? i grab it but then i wont bite it. i picked up and carried the rock in my mouth but it wont work for egg sack...

this game is amazing it kinda inspired a paining of mine i think there should be a tri-archnid multiplayer on a huge map or somthing and you can customize the tri archnid of ur schoice and fight. add a + if you think that would be cool
